Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a lovely stay at the Old Stables. Travelled with my husband, 2 children (11 and 14), elderly mum and disabled sister. It's a beautiful, clean, well finished property with plenty of space and downstairs facilities. Would possibly benefit from stronger wi-fi to keep the kids happy as it only worked in the living room and games room but we knew that before we stayed so didn't spoil anything. Lovely, big social area downstairs but with plenty of space to spreadout if you need to! Would highly recommend. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The old stables is a beautiful building. It was clean and the giant main room perfect for our group to be together yet not on top of one another. The only issue I could think of was the football table has seen its best days. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Lovely spacious house with good facilities and a pleasant garden outside, in a really picturesque bit of countryside. The living room is great with plenty of seating and a nice log burner. Likewise the kitchen is pleasant and the bedrooms are all comfortable and cosy with plenty of bathroom facilities. Kids loved the bunk beds and beams round the room. The only thing I'd say is some of the equipment has seen better days - whilst we had fun with the pool table and table football, they are rickety and could do with repair / replacement. Also a few things in the kitchen were cracked or shabby, and the controller for the playstation in the living room had the wrong charging cable. So if the owners give the equipment an update, it would get 10/10 from us. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Stayed Dec 31, 1969A good position for Trentham Gardens , Alton Towers and Shrewsbury. Plenty of parking and good space within the cottage. Lacked any luxurious /homely touches though !! Fits 6 adults and 2 small children well. Would consider again if want to be in the area as good value .

Stayed Dec 31, 1969A lovely property in a good location. It does however need a little bit of love and attention and a deep clean. Things were broken and mould in washing machine, dirty grout in showers and dirty old kettle. The bbq was also very dirty. Things that can easily be resolved which would then make this a perfect property.
