Eight of us got together at this property for some much needed R&R. There was plenty of space for everyone, good information, lots of equipment for cooking and eating, and ample space outside for playing lawn games and sitting out in the sun. The photos actually make the property look a little more rudimentary than it really is - the oven worked well, the bathrooms were decent and the beds comfy. Enough parking for several cars too. All in all, a great place to stay.

We all really enjoyed our week away, it was much needed time spent with family - and what better way to do it than to spend it in The Pumphouse. We had such a warm welcome by the owners with the added bonus of fresh produce given to us from the garden which was a delight! Looking out over the stunning scenery from the cottage grounds to watch the sun set while the children played in the garden and the nearby skate park - just bliss. The cottage itself is well equipped and the rooms perfect for a family of 8 and the dog. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage and would definitely book again. A gem. Just what was needed given the current situation. A chance to escape suberbia and enjoy a real rural location. Our grand children enjoyed the use of the large paddock and for them to go unsupervised to the village shop and recreation ground was something that they really appreciated. The hospitality of the owners, home made wines and frozen apples, as an added bonus. HIghly recommended Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Great stay (a family group of 8 people). Fantastic diner/kitchen. Comfy lounge. Each bedroom unique. Plenty of local walks. Local shop well stocked with long opening hours. A couple of pubs and in easy striking distance of Bath, Bristol, Yate and National Trust sites. We had a great stay . Highly recommended.

A lovely cottage in an ideal village. Nice community shop and farm shop (a little way away). 2 pubs with different styles but very good. An excellent base to explore the area. Not much to fault the property. Super clean, everything worked , the kitchen large and fully equipped. Operating the dishwasher was a challenge to start with but we got there. Only points to mention: TV is a little small these days but has HDMI so you can plug in your games box, there is no shower in the upstairs bathroom, which meant walking through the kitchen and lounge to shower. There is no WiFi so take a mobile data hub. EE, Vodafone and O2 appear to have reasonable signals. Owners were very helpful, offering fruit and wine :). Nice garden and views/surroundings. Thoroughly enjoyed it
