Enjoyed a wonderful week in Carven House. This is our second stay at this lovely property. It is extremely comfortable and has been decorated and modernised to a high standard without losing its original character. Superbly located in the centre of Rothbury which is a very friendly town with all the amenities needed. We look forward to returning for a third time.

I would say that the only complaint I have is the shower, there was little height to shower and the water was hard to control, but overall the property was good.

Perfection , location, amenities , the house is gorgeous and everything you need , the location is perfect for other towns and beauty spots not to far from Newcastle and the metro centre, seahouses and Berwick al little further but well worth the trip . Rothbury is beautiful with river walks at the bottom of the town plenty of pubs that all do good food , la Mensa (Italian) is outstanding with their food and service. We both enjoyed our visit , very relaxing and the people of rothbury are very welcoming. Would thoroughly recommend
