We found the cottage to be well presented, comfortable with all the necessary home comforts that made for a very enjoyable stay. Within easy walking distance to the town of Richmond, where we spent an enjoyable few hours exploring quaint little shops and market enterprises. I would like to say, in addition, the parking adjacent to the cottage was to us a positive factor. We would recommend the cottage to family and friends.

Fantastic cottage next to a large car park and only 5 minutes walk to the town centre. Everything was clean and had essentials provided. A bottle of Prosecco and chocolates to welcome us! Morrisons shop/petrol station just over the road in case you need anything and a Lidl down the road. The living room is small but there is a dining room with TV. The shower is tiny but there’s a bath so you do have a choice. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely Christmas at Pinfold Cottage! Cosy comfortable cottage. It is right next to a road which can be noisy at times as cottage is single glazed, but not really an issue. Any problems we had were solved quickly, by friendly owner. Loved the christmas tree and decorations! We would stay again.

This cottage is amazing, and whilst the photos are good, they don’t actually do it justice! The standards are superb, and in 30+ years of hiring holiday cottages this is the best one we have stayed in!!! Even though not listed, there is WiFi. Parking for £15 per week in Nun’s Close car park right at the back of cottage is simple and convenient. The best compliment we could give this cottage is ‘we could live here!’ Faultless, simply faultless!!

A perfect cottage, cosy, well equipped, good location. We had a great week, plenty to do in Richmond, with beautiful countryside around. We have stayed in many cottages over the last few years and this is one of the best.

The cottage has been decorated and furnished to a high standard and cannot fault it unfortunately it is situated right next to a main busy road and has no double glazing or secondary glazing and the noise from the traffic is relentless and the windows are noisy and vibrate as you sit next to them so if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing break I wouldn’t recommend this cottages

Very tastefully restored cottage a few minutes stroll from Richmond town centre with all it's amenities. Immaculately clean and extremely comfortable with many thoughtful touches to ensure a 'home away from home' feel. Would stay there again if we are back in the area and have no hesitation in recommending Pinfold cottage to friends and family.

Highly Recommended!! We booked this little gem of a cottage only a week before we went, and WOW what a perfect little place it is. The cottage has 3 lovely bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin and 1 single) all beautifully decorated and very comfortable; the twin and double had TV's with access to Netflix, which my teenage boys were very happy about. The bathroom has everything you need a lovely bath and a separate shower cubicle. Downstairs the lounge is comfortable, homely and very cosy with a log burner; perfect for movie nights. The kitchen is just perfect, with bespoke wood units and has everything you need from preparing snacks to cooking a slap up meal. Now my favourite room was the dining room which is adjacent to the kitchen, with its big oak table with benches, a lovely oak sideboard and a TV;this room leads out to the court yard with its apple trees and border plants. Myself and my husband spent majority of our time in this room, with the patio doors open, radio on over the TV, reading, completing a puzzle and just relaxing. The cottage is situated on the main road and does back onto a car park, but please do not let this put you off one bit;the cottage is quiet and you forget about the car park as this is also quiet even when busy, the trees in the courtyard do give you privacy. The cottage is in a fantastic and beautiful location, with everything in walking distance, right on your doorstep. The owners of the cottage have worked really hard in renovating this cottage and they show a lot of pride in ensuring that you enjoy your stay. Phil the owner of the cottage contacted us to ensure we were having a lovely time in his cottage and nothing is to much trouble; you will be mad not to book this cottage. We have had a fantastic holiday in Richmond and the cottage was the icing on the cake, just fabulous. We will be booking again in the future.
