The most well-equipped and cleanest accommodation that we have ever stayed in. Delicious home-made Welsh cakes with condiments and local supplies along with a lovely warm welcome from the owner and family. The photos need updating as this cottage has had a new kitchen and modernisation. Luggage racks, towelling robes, hair straightener cooling pads, the extras really make this the perfect escape. Lovely walks from the cottage with astounding views of sea and mountains and a lovely dog-friendly beach a few minutes drive away. A good pub called Victoria Inn is also worth a visit. Feeling totally refreshed. Many thanks to Gwen.

We loved our short stay Rhiwgoch. The cottage was clean, comfortable and cosy with plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen. The cottage has beautiful views and only a short drive from Harlech which has a stunning castle, beach and an amazing deli. It's location is perfect for exploring Mid/North Wales. We were warmly greeted by the owner who was friendly and she showed us around and she even came to say goodbye when we left. There was Welsh tea and coffee, bara brith cake waiting for us and much needed after a long journey. All these little touches made us feel very welcomed and made things feel more personal. We were only there for a few days but our hearts will stay a lot longer as we loved our stay and can't wait to come back as we have now found the perfect place to stay when visiting Mid/North Wales.

We had a really lovely stay at this cottage, the location is fantastic. Lovely local attractions (the Beach, Castle, Walks and views) as well as being within easy reach of most north wales tourist attractions. Your hosts are fantastic and will be on hand if you need them. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The cottage was lovely and had everything we required for a perfect stay. The views and sunsets were beautiful and it was very peaceful and tranquil. My only issue was you could get anywhere on foot as the road was too long and steep even for seasoned walkers like ourselves and the wall at the end of the garden was not high enough for my dog And there were sheep in the field behind it so I couldn’t let her out there without supervision. We would definitely visit again though. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a wonderful time in Rhiwgoch. It is a simple but well equipped cottage which has everything you need. Gwen was very friendly and helpful and available to answer any of our questions. The views from the cottage are wonderful and the garden is a lovely place to sit, even on a windy day you can hunker down behind the solid stone wall and enjoy your cup of tea. The cottage is at the top of a very large hill, so it's not easy to walk into Harlech or go to the beach on your bikes but the advantage is that you get a great view. Harlech has a wonderful long sandy beach and you can do a lot of nice walks in the area. There are a few nice cafes in Harlech and a Spar but you have to go to Porthmadog or Barmouth to do your main food shop. The traffic-free bike path from Barmouth to Dolgellau is definitely worth doing. Flat and well maintained with stunning views in both directions.
