Lovely house and quite location

The cottage is excellent, but a more prominent sign at the top of the driveway would have been helpful.A lovely place to have a holiday, and the hostess was very helpful

A really lovely cottage, one of the best we have stayed in. Beautifully furnished , very well equipped, with lots of thoughtful touches. Very warm and cosy for a winter stay. Camilla and Tim made us very welcome, and were very attentive hosts. The Wi-Fi is a little patchy, but that is down to the rural location. We would happily stay here again.

Arrived at the Owl House for a Christmas break and it did not dissapoint. We had a warm welcome from Camilla and found flowers, treats and Christmas decorations awaiting us which were much appreciated. Warm and cosy with a log fire for those chilly days. We have just spent a very enjoyable week in this cottage. Ideal location for exploring the area, although a car is essential. The cottage was well equipped and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Good outdoor space although we were unable to benefit due to weather. We hope to visit again. Absolutely amazing place! Even nicer than the photos show, very spacious in all of the rooms. We went with our two children, 2 and 3 months and was great for them. Lovely open plan downstairs but with lots of room it really flows from lounge to dining area and kitchen. Upstairs the main bedroom and twin bedroom are very spacious, leaving plenty of room for travel cot. Bathroom abs on suite are both nice and modern. House is lovely and warm with under floor heating. Beautiful views from the all the windows and garden. Nicely tucked away somehow both in the middle of nowhere but also only short distance from everywhere we wanted to visit!
