Stayed Jan 27, 2026Well it could not of been any better, had a great stay, warm, cozy. 10 minutes from Bicester it's self, we would come back😠sitting watching the birds and wild life was a joy. Loved every minute, only draw back which has nothing to do with our stay, we would come earlier so it was the lighter nights to see more of Bicester and wild life x

Stayed Mar 31, 2025We had a great 4 night stay in Alfie's Barn. Property was very clean and spacious, and got a nice welcome from Rosemary with an explanation of key things we needed to know.Particularly loved the garden and the wildlife - seeing deers, foxes, squirrels and red kites all close by.We used our stay as a base to visit legoland and Harry Potter studios. But also in a very good location for Bicester and Oxford visits.Would definitely recommend a stay at Alfie's Barn to others, would stay again if planning to be in the area.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The Barn was beautiful, appealing and very spacious in a quiet area which was ideal for exploring the local area and seeing places like Blenheim Palace. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was a very well equipped kitchen and we managed very well even with covid restrictions. The hob could be a bit tricky but Rosemary was very quick to help. It really was a home from home and there was plenty of wildlife to watch. We would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area. Stayed Dec 31, 1969Alfie's Barn is tucked away in a quiet secluded location but with easy accessibility to such places as Oxford, Bletchley Park, the Bicester Shopping Centres, etc. In spite of the covid restrictions it was well-equipped, warm and very clean. Inspite of the weather and time in the year we enjoyed the various wildlife around the Barn - squirrels, owls, fox, pheasants. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Comfortable and surprisingly large cottage, tucked away in a very quiet position. The photos don't really do the property justice, it has has a large kitchen Diner, good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The lounge is snug and would be smallish for 5 , but is cosy and the cottage is warm. Not much in the immediate area of interest for us at this time of year (other than the upmarket Bicester shopping village), but a great base and just 30 mins by car to the centre of Oxford with the option of a cross country route avoiding the congestion on the major routes.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969What a find. Rosemary the owner met us at the barn and showed us around and how everything worked. It has the wow factor as soon as you walk through the front door. There were 5 adults in our party and more than enough space for us all. Rosemary has done a wonderful job making the place feel very homely and relaxing, great outdoor space as well. We were there for 3 nights but wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back.
