Very nice serene and quiet stay. Beds were very comfortable. We used the gas fireplace, and the whole place felt like home, with large TV and wireless WiFi. To bad we didn’t have kids, because they would have loved the king size bed in the loft. Hot Tub was excellent, and the wrap around porch was so cool. Fire pit with plentiful split wood was there if needed. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely recommend this to our family and friends! Thanks Diane for responsive communication and detailed directions!

We had a great time at the cabin with our two boys. Family of four. We stayed four nights total and definitely had a hard time leaving this place. Beds were really comfortable, kitchen had everything you needed to cook, and the cabin was clean and cozy. We made a lot of meals on the grill and loved the campfire for smores. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the beautiful mountain scenery. The hot tub was a plus as well. We didnt have any problems finding the place, as our GPS took us right to it. Great price and value. We look forward to booking another stay in the future.

We had an amazing time on our stay and the privacy was amazing. We cooked out over the fire every night and had the best weather. The bed is very comfortable and the hot tub is great. The house comes stocked with anything you need. Definitely recommend

Very clean and well stocked for the price point. Host was available but left us to do our own thing and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Some minor things could use updating but then again for the price point no big deal!!! We would definitely stay again. Very quiet away from any hustle and bustle but perfect for outdoor activities/ hiking / ATV riding. . If you want great coffee and/or lattes head over to Know Better coffee in Mountain City. Great coffee and bagels perfect pre or post hike. So glad we found Know Better and this cabin.

We were excited about this cabin because it checked all of our boxes — reasonable price, pet-friendly, hot tub, and fireplace — and it had many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our stay ended up being a bit of a mixed experience.The owners have clearly put effort into making the cabin feel cute and homey, but there are so many decorative items and personal touches throughout the space that there is very little room for renters’ belongings. In particular, the kitchen has almost no usable counter space for food prep, so we found ourselves using the dining table instead.The hot tub was hot, but the water was not very clean, and there appeared to be a missing component that caused water to overflow onto the deck, creating a column of frozen water beneath it. The jets were also operating at what felt like a fraction of their normal strength. This was disappointing, as the hot tub was one of the main reasons we booked the property.The fireplace functioned well, but even on its lowest setting it overheated the living area quickly, making it difficult to regulate the temperature comfortably.On the positive side, the master bedroom bed was very comfortable, and the couch and chair were also great for relaxing. The internet was excellent, and the three televisions were exceptional. The price was very reasonable, which helps offset some of the shortcomings.With a bit of decluttering, improved hot tub maintenance, and some minor changes, this could be a very comfortable rental

Enjoyed the cozy cabin, especially the hot tub! Had comfortable beds and everything we needed. It was nice to enjoy the Christmas decorations and the tree was still up.

We loved the cabin. The location was beautiful and the cabin was clean. It was a cold time of year, but there were plenty of space heaters to warm up the rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to make simple meals. We especially enjoyed the hot tub.One small complaint was the number of scent deodorizers placed through out the cabin. I had an asthma reaction to the multiple deodorizers placed in every room and had to use my inhaler that first night. I put them all in a bathroom cabinet and was fine the rest of our stay.

Wonderful stay! Everything was clean and in order. This is such a peaceful and quiet place to relax and restore yourself. Bed was comfortable, couch was cozy, fireplace was great to have, hot tub was amazing. We enjoyed some hot meals cooked with the stove and the oven, some coffee from the coffee maker, and enjoyed a movie on the fantastic living room TV (updated from the pictures)! Most of all enjoyed the peace and quiet of this cozy cabin. The hosts were super kind and helpful. We will definitely have to return in the summer to take advantage of the grill, the fire pit, and all the outdoor adventures in the area. Bottom line: great getaway!!!

This cabin exceeded our expectations. The kids toys, hot tub, peace & quiet, comfortable beds & kitchen/living space were huge hits. We made s'mores at night and listened to the turkeys in the morning. We celebrated my daughter's first birthday & our second wedding anniversary in this home & would do it again every year! Definitely recommend arriving in the daylight but we still found it! Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise with us.

A very nice cabin that is private and secluded. Check in process was easy and the directions were very detailed and easy to find the cabin. Great communication with the owners. We loved sitting on the porch which had plenty of seating options. The hot tub was very nice and relaxing especially after riding the creeper trail. You will not be disappointed staying here.

Had a great time celebrating our 15th anniversary! The cabin is private but houses are nearby. Very clean and comfortable beds. Loved the hot tub set up to watch TV while relaxing. Would definitely return.

The cabin and surrounding area were beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub!! There's just nothing quite like enjoying your morning coffee from the porch swing while watching nature wake up with you. Our hosts provided everything one needs to make yourself at home for the length of your stay. We had no problem getting in contact when we did have a question and they were very prompt. We absolutely loved staying here and plan to return as soon as we are able!!

Great property that was secluded off the main road just outside of town. Family friendly and cabin cozy.

This place would have been great in the past. The hot tub I was so excited to get in but didn't. The hot tub wasn't cleaned at all and had sand and bugs all in it. Also didn't smell chlorine or any cleaning agents in it. There were alot of spots in the cabin with dead bugs. Other than these things mentioned it was ok.

We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quite the cottage had to offer. The porches surround three sides of the building nestled in the woods/mountains of TN. The personal touches and amenities offered by Diana and Mark made us feel at home and afforded us the rest and relaxation we desired. We look forward to returning in the near future for another getaway!

Inside was clean, beds were comfortable and it was nice to have the hot tub after biking. Cabin was very dark with most of the windows covered. There was refuse in the fire-pit and yard.

This is a quaint cabin with a fabulous hot tub and great swing on the front porch. The view from the hot tub is wonderful. The front bedroom has a very comfortable bed. The kitchen had everything claimed. There are neighbors around but you do feel nice and secluded. Would stay again.

Clean, Cozy n Comfortable

Great place.

This cabin is in a quiet and kind of remote neighborhood. Setting is private with only one house visible through the trees. There are two ways to get to the house: one a very narrow and windy gravel road and another mostly paved road. You can tell there was some storm damage from Hurricane Helene as there are piles of brush around the edges of the yard but it is in the process of being cleared. It was a very cold and stormy weekend when we stayed. Even when the power went out, the cabin stayed warm with the gas fireplace and we could still cook on the gas stove. It was like glamping. We enjoyed our time there and hanging out in the hot tub. Our hosts checked in with us several times to see if we needed anything. I would stay there again.

Only problem we had was finding the place. They should most definitely change the address on vrbo. The night was rainy foggy and scary for city slickers like us lol and finding the place was bad, other than that we loved it.

the location was great ,it was a warm and cozy cabin we had a great time but had to leave early because of the incoming snow storm.

the cabin had everything to offer! Loved the hot tub, the wrap around porch, a cosy bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. We had trouble finding a roster for a couple of days, but then we found it on the back of the bottom cabinet. We had so much fun! Felt very safe and very comfortable. Thank you very much!

We had an awesome time. Loved the hot tub after a day of playing in the mountains. I enjoyed being able to build a fire without having to cut any wood. The gas grill was real nice. I had a couple of questions for the owners during our stay and they were very responsive. I have no complaints about this cabin, the property, or the owners. Previous reviews talked about the cabin being hard to find. It wasn't too hard to find. You can partially see another house through the woods and hear the kids playing but overall it was a very private setting. I would stay there again if we ever want to visit that area again.

We have stayed in the cabin multiple times while checking on our own log home build. It’s always clean, cozy, and peaceful. Hopefully we won’t have to stay again because our build will be done, but we won’t hesitate to recommend to friends & family!

The cabin is very clean inside. There was a lot of care and attention to the details. The location is great, close to the Dollar General. If you leave the cabin be aware that there is poor cell phone service. The outside porch could use some repairs but does not effect your enjoyment.

This was truly a remote cabin. Nestled in the woods, it's very quiet and isolated. Being in the woods, it was very dark. I would recommend more lighting. It was difficult for me to read day or night. The owner was very friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had.

This is our 4th or 5th trip here. I love how were hidden in the woods, the hot tub, the fire pit and there's plenty of room for all 6 in my family. We've made so many memories here. hereWeve made so nany

Absolutely loved this cozy little cabin. It was perfect for us and our fur babies. We never ran out of hot water. We loved hanging out on the deck Wi-Fi speeds were fine very convenient having a washer and dryer… My only suggestion to the owners would be to clean out the closets and cabinets There was a lot of miscellaneous stuff that took up space that could have been used for our clothes and food storage. And maybe 2 inch gel cushions for the beds .. we stayed for 15 nights, which I don’t think that they are used to having anyone stay that long. It definitely felt cozy! The cabin was 10 minutes away from Damascus, Virginia the Appalachian Trail as well as many other hiking and biking trails. It was 20 minutes away from skydive Mountain city 15 minutes away from Mountain recreation area for side-by-side rentals and about 40 minutes away from Whitewater rafting on the Nolichucky river!! Thank you, Diane and Mark for making our vacation perfect💕
