Mamaw’s Place-Cozy Farmhouse in Mtn City TN-Near Boone, Damascus and Doe Mtn

We had a wonderful stay! The host was very nice, attentive, and easy to communicate with. The house was clean, cozy, and very family-friendly. It truly had everything we needed to make it feel like our home for the weekend, including a full kitchen and the convenience of having a washer and dryer. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our time there. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

The property was as described, loved having a fully equipped home to relax in, prepare meals, laundry, a host that communicated very well & promptly. I was able to walk around outdoors & across the street. I would very much recommend this rental to anyone looking for a really nice place to stay. Worth every cent. #iapprove

Mamaw’s Place was the perfect quaint stay for a long weekend! It has such a cozy feel to it between the decorations, the lighting, and the adorable Pyrenees that greets you as you come and go. The house was very clean - my mom is a professional cleaner and even she was impressed at the cleanliness. It balances the country feel while still being close enough to town in case you need something. Debbie was an incredible host - easily accessible by phone and informative.

What a great place! I absolutely loved staying here. The farm setting took me back to wonderful memories of my own grandmother's house. I had everything I needed, plus more. This is the cleanest place I've ever stayed. There might be a speck of dust somewhere, but I sure didn’t see any! Debbie was available for any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again. Mamaw’s Place in Mountain City was one of the cutest and most authentic places we’ve ever stayed. Being only a few minutes from town, we were able to enjoy all that Mountain City had to offer while also enjoying the peacefulness of staying on a farm. The host was friendly and attentive, and she offered excellent suggestions on what to check out while we were in Mountain City. We will definitely be back!

From check in to our amazing nights rest we felt welcomed and part of the family. We will one day be neighbors, but Debbie made us feel like family. We loved seeing the cow and chickens in the mornings. Debbie had a welcome sign in the kitchen with our names on it... lovely touch. When my husband lost his phone Debbie went above and beyond and helped us find it. Mountain City and the surrounding towns were hit hard with Helene, but they are rebuilding and will be better than ever. We will be back very soon. Thank you, Debbie!

Honestly, we only accessed the house at night. Beds were comfy and host was really good to accommodate our specific needs. We were part of a men's team and our accommodations at a local hotel were canceled so repair contractors coming into the are had a place to stay. We come up twice a year to minister to the inmates at the local penitentiary. Debbie I will probably call you in the spring to book again. Thanks. We enjoyed Mamaw's place much better than the local hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at Mamaw’s place. It was super clean and neat. A really cute farm house. Very convenient home base to explore the mountain roads around Mountain City. A very responsive host. We plan to b back next year!

House was as described. Our son was participating in a paramotor fly in that was held at the Johnson County Airport which was an easy 10 minute drive from the home. If the house is available the next time we are in Mountain City, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

If you need to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you! It was quiet enough that I slept like a rock! The best rest I’ve had in a long time. Debbie had coffee along with creamer and sugar available to use. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The best is that it has stainless steel pots so you’re not having to worry about nonstick being all scratched up to the point you can’t use it. We enjoyed watching the farm animals each morning while drinking coffee. Debbie was great to help if needed and make suggestions for the area. We have stayed in numerous Vrbo rentals. By far, this was the best place we have ever stayed and we will definitely be back.

Its truly Grandma's house such a lovely place to relax Loved the chickens and the fire pit. Its a beautiful home with all amenities. Very close to town. Thank you will stay again.
