Stayed Jun 23, 2026We enjoyed our stay very much. The highlight of this property was the outdoor space, which was beautifully furnished and a perfect place to have breakfast and spend time reading. The cottage itself was well thought out, with lots of details we liked - particularly the Keurig coffee maker with a large variety of pod options. We could have used a bit more storage space for our two overnight bags. There didn’t seem to be anywhere to set up the one luggage rack provided, and the drawers and shelves were filled with extra bedding. However, the neighborhood was very quiet, and Sue, our host, was friendly and responsive, but unobtrusive. We felt a sense of complete privacy, which was lovely. It was a very comfortable place to spend four nights.

Stayed Jun 20, 2026Sweet location in a charming neighborhood close to downtown Ashland and the Oregon Shakespeare festival. Welcoming host, accommodating and fascinating back story. Check out the books she has left in the room for a wonderful surprise. We highly recommend it.

Stayed Jun 4, 2026We sat out in the very private patio almost every day. The room is small but perfectly adequate for my sister and me. We walked the one mile to the OSF theaters each day and the area is quite historical with interesting houses. We always cook our own meals and the kitchen had a great full size refrigerator, (very few BnBs have a full size refrigerator) and a two burner cook top and a microwave. Be sure to read Sue's book, The Station Masters Wife. Then go find her house.

Stayed Aug 1, 2025Walkable to everything - restaurants, the shows, boutiques, fabulous coffee! The space has everything you would need and the outdoor patio is wonderful for your morning coffee and emails. Sue was a lovely host and I enjoyed our conversation about the history of Ashland - read her book if you can!

Stayed Jul 21, 2025The property is well located in a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The patio is private, and nicely landscaped. The host is gracious. The accommodations are small, particularly the bathroom and shower, although the fixtures are good. The very small love seat is hard as a rock, and not at all comfortable for sitting, meaning the only really comfortable place to sit is the bed. Everything else was quite satisfactory.

Stayed Apr 16, 2025My partner and I had such a wonderful stay here. The location is unbeatable in terms of walkability. We could walk to almost all of our desired restaurants and activities! The location is also fairly quiet, with minimal noise from neighbors or downtown. The cottage itself was very comfortable and the perfect size for 2 people staying a few nights. Lots of natural light as well, which I loved. We would definitely stay again.
