Stayed May 24, 2026Make no mistake, this place is off the grid. But it is beautiful in so many ways. The exterior, the interior and the beautiful added touch of a sauna. I really enjoyed staying here. Just one piece of advice, I'm the type of person who doesn't read instructions and just tries to figure it out on my own. Don't do that when you're trying to find this place because you won't have any phone signal for several miles before you get to it. When I did finally reach out to the host he was incredibly helpful and very efficient so I put no blame on him.

Stayed Aug 10, 2025Such a cool home! Just isolated enough to feel private while still being close to a town. Host was very responsive and helpful with any and all questions. The outdoor tub/shower is a great touch.

Stayed Mar 22, 2025This place is absolutely awesome. We were a bit skeptical at first as it was much cheaper than surrounding places, only a few photos shown, and no reviews. After booking, I messaged the owner and found more pictures and reviews on hipcamp. Will definitely return when we come back to see nore of the area. Great location between many great parks. Hoise was very clean and comfortable. As soon as you walk in you can smell the woodburning stove and you feel at home. Outdoor shower was awesome even at 30 outside. Go check this place out!
