The Old Dairy is a beautifully refurbished, semi-detached, single-storey barn conversion. These seven properties (refs UK40448 UKC3108, UKC3109, UKC3334, UK40450, UK48477 and UK48478) stand in a semi-rural location, accessed along a track. It is ideal for couples or families, with a light and spacious open plan living/dining room/kitchen, with a wood burner and folding doors which lead out to an enclosed part patio/part lawned garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture, Wendy house, barbecue and hot tub! There is also a shared games room with table football, table tennis and magnetic darts.

The property lies on the National Cycle Network, and this area is known for its scenic walks and wildlife. There is a direct gravel track along the Castleman Trailway (the old railway line) to miles of woodland walks making this ideal for walkers and cyclists. One route leads to a pub and golf course (all within 20-minute flat walk). Cranborne Chase and the Jurassic coastline (Purbecks, Swanage and Wareham) are within easy reach, the latter being a nationally protected Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers extensive scenic walks and a wealth of wildlife.

Wimborne is a market town with a historic town trail taking in the buildings ranging from the 15th to 17th centuries. Here you will also find the popular Tivoli theatre, model town, coffee houses, shops, market and restaurants. The sandy beaches at Bournemouth and Poole are just 10 miles away and Sandbanks, Studland Bay and the Poole Natural Reserve are within easy reach. National Trust properties Kingston Lacy Estate, Badbury Rings and Brownsea Island are a short distance away.

Moors Valley has scenic walks and is excellent for wildlife spotting. There is a range of activities in the area including fishing, cycle hire, golf and Go-Ape Tree Top Adventure. The New Forest National Park is easily accessible, and provides miles of scenic walks and a network of bridle paths and footpaths, and the ponies and cattle roam the streets in the picturesque villages. The property is conveniently placed for road links to the cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury, Christchurch harbour and the iconic Stonehenge.     We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Dairy. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and in an ideal location. Was perfect for our two children (who loved the games room) and the dog (who loved all the walking and seeing the deer!!). On a side note there are two more holiday rentals being built on site - but the noise wasn't too bad on the days we decided not to venture out too far.

    This is a truly gorgeous place to stay. Very spacious and comfortable. Well equipped, with tasteful decor. The little garden with hot tub is perfect. We'll be booking again for next spring.

    We had a fantastic week at the Old Dairy The cottage was immaculate in every detail. Everything had been thought of to make our stay so enjoyable. The enclosed garden was super for our 2 pups, and they loved it.The hot tub was fantastic to relax in at the end of each day.The location was fabulous so we could enjoy the forest walks and especially the dog friendly pubs.The hosts were so welcoming and made our holiday complete.Thank you Sue and the team.We will definitely be returning.
