We are very grateful that the owners accepted our very last minute reservation. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The garden is beautiful large and secure which is very important with our dog. With a busy working life at home the peaceful and quiet that Yr Hen Stable offers is priceless. For those who like active recreation, attractions are within reach :)

Property is very pleasant, clean And well presented. Description is accurate and we had very enjoyable stay. I received no directions Or owner contact details even though I emailed twice requesting. Used post code which is about 1 mile away and no chance of finding without directions. Eventually got through to holiday company and had directions messaged - found within 10 mins!!

After several months locked down in a very urban environment Yr Hen Stabl was the perfect tonic for the family. Lots of space and total tranquility in beautiful countryside with nearby views over the Cambrian mountains. Sitting in the lovely garden in the evening was idyllic. We particularly enjoyed our traditional seaside days out of beach and ice cream in nearby New Quay. Bethan was very helpful and friendly and my four year old enjoyed feeding the sheep with her so much that when we left she cried as she wouldn't get to do it again. Looks like we're going to have to find some sheep feeding opportunities close to home.. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A really lovely stay at Yr Hen Stabl. Location is superb. Cottage spaceous, spotless, very comfy and well-equipped. Garden was a huge bonus - dog-friendly, pretty and peaceful. Owners kind and attentive but not all intrusive. Really recommend this property. We booked at short notice and were delighted with our stay.

We loved it!! If you are looking for a country retreat with peace and quiet this is the place for you It is off the beaten track so you have to be well organised with food etc, but it is very comfortable. The owner had left a welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee and barra brith which was indeed very welcome after a long journey. The walled garden was large and our two dogs loved it, as well as the paddock to run in. The log fire made the whole place very cosy and the dogs zeroed-in on the hearth. There are lots of places to visit within easy reach to suit all tastes, although the weather was unkind to us - the weather man said it was more akin to Autumn than early summer! The owner was lovely, very helpful and gave us good ideas of where to visit. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and intend to revisit in the future.
