Fabulous cottage, we have booked cottages for Christmas for the last seven years, and Skimblescott barn is the nicest we have stayed in. A very spacious cottage with everything you need for a relaxing break, located in a beautiful part of the country with several historic towns to visit.

Although we had to cut our stay short due to a car problem we cannot fault the Barn. Absolutely superb. Thor (our Black Labrador) loved the garden with the snow. Would highly recommend Skimblescott Barn. The relative remote location adds to the charm.

Had a great 4 night stay at Skimblescott Barn. The property is very clean, comfortable and spacious with excellent furnishings and equipment. The colder November weather meant we were not able to use the outside facilities and spaces as much as we would like but these would be excellent in Summer. The only downside was not having a pub/restaurant nearby.

We've had the most relaxing week while at this property. Very comfortable and a home from home with everything we needed supplied. The views from the living area are fabulous. The owners are very friendly and although they are right next door if you need them, will leave you to enjoy your stay. The only downside was having to get in the car to go anywhere as the shops and pubs are not within walking distance (not for us anyway!). However lots to see and do once you're out and about. We had the best time at Skimblescott Barn. The barn itself is beautifully done, very spacious and comfortable. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning, and there is so much to see and do. We would not hesitate to book it again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
