We spent a lovely week there. The weather was very challenging but because the place was very well equipped and spacious, we didn't experience any discomfort. Ann and Tom are lovely people, very welcoming. The cottage is very well equipped. We prepared our meals in the cottage and we didn't lack any equipment to prepare proper dinner. Plenty of space for clothes and personal items. Clean beddings and towels in place. Dry fire logs available anytime without any extra cost. Some may complain that WiFi is not very fast but I watched netflix, my partner and son watched youtube and only my son complained that it was lagging. It's peaceful place. At night it may be bit noisy as you would expect from working diary farm. It's perfect place for those who needs some break from crowds, social media and today's world.

This is a gem of a find, just what we wanted, peace and quiet. It was located on a farm but this did not detract from the peace and tranquility. The views abd scenery are outstanding. The owner was very helpful in places to go. We had a fantastic few days and will certainly be back in the future. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This was our first chance to get away after four months of lockdown. Perfect location for visiting mid Wales area. Lovely scenery and good places for walking a short drive away (you do need a car here). Snowdonia National Park is an hour's drive away. We enjoyed the beautiful Welsh Countryside and a trip on the local Welshpool Light Railway which has just re-opened. The cottage is on a working farm so expect farm traffic and accompanying smells (that was fine for us). We spent a happy few hours sitting outside just watching the small group of cows doing what cows do... very relaxing. We also tried our luck fishing in the river just down the lane. No luck but we did see a dipper and a kingfisher. The cottage has a very comfy living space. The kitchen is fairly well equipped, although the kitchen knives could do with a sharpen. Our reason for not giving a '10' all round was due to a very (for us) uncomfortable mattress - it was like a trampoline, a very noisy boiler (not boxed in) which came on at 6am and the farm dog in the kennels next door which howled impressively every night at some point. We judged our stay to be one of the best holidays we have had as a family. Everything was great, from being welcomed as part of a working farm by the family, the layout of the accommodation and location. Our young daughter learnt a great many new things about a working farm and sorely misses the dogs. We would love to return again.
