Very good good location in local town local shops pubs allow dogs nothing to want for enclosed garden to rear, big rooms bed linen great, warm as you want it to be parking out front, kitchen ample size be aware no washing machine didn’t bother me! If book again I left comments in the book for owners

We absolutely loved this cottage and its quirky up and down steps, admittedly if you are mobility challenged it is not for you but for us it was perfect. Immaculately clean and even had hand wash, washing up liquid tea towel etc and dog bowls. I loved the location and the window seats to watch life go by and Leyburn is such a good village with 4 pubs in 10 seconds walking distance plus an Indian, Chinese, Co-Op, 2 bakeries and much more plus a village market on a Friday. We stayed at Middleham last year but much preferred this village and will definitely go back if not to live. The only feedback I would say that I don't think a dishwasher is necessary as we didn't use it once but maybe a washing machine would be a better replacement with the Dales being wet and muddy as I did hand wash the dogs coat after Aysgarth Falls. We are already planning our next visit-Blue Lion pub at East Whitton is definitely worth a visit but a bit pricey.

This traditional dales cottage has been refurbished to a high standard, is well equipped and in a fantastic location at the heart of Leyburn. It has everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay, with local amenities and the countryside on the door step. There is parking immediately outside the cottage and a shared garden space at the rear.

Lovely property in great location. However, when we arrived we had incorrect emailed check in details and we were unable to gain access to the house. Both the code and keysafe description were incorrect, and as it was now a bank holiday (Queen's Funeral) the helpline was unavailable. Very stressful, had to travel a significant distance to stay find alternative accommodation. This in no way reflects on the quality of the accommodation once we gained access the following morning.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Cosy, clean house situated virtually in the middle of Leyburn. A minute walk to shops, pubs, cafes etc and a short drive to various beauty spots and attractions. Recommended. Would rent this cottage again.

Great location and good parking which was a bonus in such a busy place. The cottage was clean and adequately equipped. Some books, games etc for a rainy day may be an idea. Not surprisingly there are a lot of stairs and my only gripe is that for this price I would have expected a second toilet. The outside area is a small walled garden which gets a lot of sun and we enjoyed sitting out there.
