Stayed Oct 5, 2024Really nice place. Everything you need is there. The only thing that isn't so nice is the way up to the house, many potholes and very uneven, not suitable for a delicate car. Be careful and look out for the speed ramps, no sign beforehand, only a very small one on the ground directly in front of them - if you are too fast, they could realy damage your car.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This cottage is a little gem. Located along a farm track, it is well insulated from any traffic noise. The cottage was absolutely spotless and was extremely well equipped and comfortable. We felt very much at home and the owners, Dave and Kate, could not do more to make us feel welcome and they made sure we had all we needed. Regarding the comment someone made about the access road being difficult... It is a farm track lined with trees and is part of the charm of this cottage. Allow the common sense genes to kick in and take your time. Enjoy looking out for deer, pheasants and red squirrels as you drive along it. We would highly recommend this cottage. Stayed Dec 31, 1969What a lovely, spacious cottage. Ideal for a break away from home. We booked this due to our dog being petrified of fireworks and there was not one noise on Bonfire Night. The location is rural but within easy reach of various places of interest very easily. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Fantastic break away! We will definitely be back. Yes there is a farm road leading up to the cottage but if you book a rural retreat you need to expect this. Just drive carefully! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Stayed Sep 7, 2019Perfect location for visiting Edinburgh and St Andrews, to watch the Solheim at Gleneagles. Amazing scenery with beautiful walks all around. Excellent accommodation very well equipped, perhaps some toppers on the beds would have made it perfect! Would highly recommend.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Fantastic holiday. White Wisp is very nice indeed. Fully equipped kitchen, lovely furniture, very comfy beds too. Immaculately clean. The views of the Scottish Hills is beautiful even in the rain. It is off the beaten track, you have to go up a long track alongside farmland and turn the corner. There was a key safe so you could get in without having to wait for someone to come and meet you. No traffic can be heard as you are not near a road. Very central for getting to places in the car. We had such a lovely time that we have already booked to go back next year. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
