Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a fantastic, relaxing holiday at Tarnadoun Cottage. The cottage itself was lovely, we couldnt have asked for better. We especially loved our daily visits from Copper (dog ) and the hens. Couldnt fault it, definitely would go back. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The holiday in the national park of The Trossachs and Loch Lomond went smoothly thanks in no small part to the cottage of Tarandoun ; well situated within walking distance of all the amenities a small town can offer. It is spacious, clean and well appointed. There is a very well equipped kitchen so a meal can be cooked easily with plenty of cutlery and crocks. The lounge area faces onto a spacious garden which after exploring leads onto the River Clyde. It has a sunken garden feature and many unusual plants. The lounge itself has been updated since the reviews I read before staying in the cottage - the sofa and chairs are very comfortable with side tables for drinks and there is a huge tv with plenty of DVD's provided for entertainment. My only concern was that wifi was intermittent although gratefully provided for by our great hosts. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Stayed Dec 31, 1969A really lovely cottage in a beautiful location. The settee could be a little more comfortable and the TV's could be a little bigger but with such a stunning view you won't watch much TV. I would certainly book again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Absolutely lovely place, with spectacular views of the sea in all weathers. The cottage was clean, cosy and provided us with the comforts we needed. The only thing that we may suggest, is that the sofa and chairs be more comfy. Will definitely recommend this place, it's a gem.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The cottage was fairly basic and not terribly well equipped and had an air of general neglect especially in the garden and the small courtyard approach. The brochures for local information and places of interest were out of date. Information regarding appliances were not easily found a little lacking. Although there was a washer/dryer there was no laundry basket or way of drying if items were not suitable for tumble drying. We had to purchase a cheap washing up bowl and clothes airer. The plug in the shower, in the shower room, did not drain properly so after a shower you would be left standing in a few inches of water, some of which overlapped onto the floor. We would recommend the cottage but attention is needed to bring it back to the standard shown in the photograph. The view over the Clyde was fabulous.
