We had a great week at Stable End. The owners were very helpful and very keen to be fully Covid compliant. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable and all the appliances were top notch. The village of Halesworth had a good range of shops, restaurants and a lovely park for young children. Whilst not as close as we’d thought to the coast it’s close enough for easy access. Such a cosy cottage, full of character and with the added bonus of some delicious welcome gifts! We had a lovely short break here and it was the perfect base for our family and three dogs. We will hopefully be back.

A superb location, not only for visiting interesting places but also at least 3 pubs within easy walking distance. Everything was as described (not as daft as it sounds as we have had some issues in the past!), and more besides. Janet and Brian are excellent hosts and the welcome pack including not only tea, coffee and milk but also homemade cakes and a bottle of wine, was a real treat.
