Farnham is a small rural village in north Dorset and is a great starting point to explore some of the wonderful countryside with miles of footpaths to roam on the doorstep!

A little further afield is the pretty town of Shaftesbury and the iconic ’Gold Hill’ and just half an hour from West Moors Country Park, with a high ropes course, miniature railway and bike hire make this a great day out for all ages!

Our stay in Eton Cottage was perfect - itâ€™s situated a few mins walk from a lovely pub restaurant and is â€˜chocolate boxâ€™ pretty with a warm cosy feel, and yet is very practical if youâ€™re taking a dog, with its secure garden at the side. The inside of the cottage was spotless - the beds are very comfortable and it was great to have two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bath. We also loved the welcome basket and Nespesso coffee machine - really nice added touches. I would highly recommend Eton Cottage and hope to stay there again one day.

Fabulous cottage in a pretty village. The cottage was very well equipped and clean. Bed was comfy. The log burner was a great wee bonus and made the cottage very cosy.
