Really enjoyed our stay. If it was modernised I could live there.

Absolutely superb. Found a rare unbooked week there in late August and had a wonderful time. The photos and description undersell the virtues of Shielgreen. Soon realised 18 years of renting it out with the reviews in the visitors book that so many people can't be wrong. I've stayed in many self catering cottages over very many years and this is quite simply probably the very best, Customer choice awards say it all.

Our stay at Sheilgreen was wonderful. The house was very clean and cozy, and we felt at home immediately. The location was near town, with groceries within walking distance, while also being near many historical and scenic sites. The owner was easy to contact, but we didn't need anything while we were there. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

I cannot fault this property The couple who stayed before us thought it was a 70s throwback but my wife and I were well satisfied on both occasions we have stayed so much so we are staying there for a fortnight next year !!
