This is a lovely cottage. It is charming, clean, comfortable and cosy. We had a nice surprise when we walked into the cottage and saw the beautiful Christmas decorations. The cottage is very well equipped and they seem to have thought of everything. The cottage is in a great location being just a five minute walk from the town centre and all it's amenities, the local park and the Tissington trail. I would most certainly recommend Lace Cottage to friends and family. everything.

The cottage is a wonderful haven in spectacular surroundings. The owners are extremely helpful and happy to communicate promptly with answers to any queries. The cottage radiates calm and positivity, Exceptionally clean with everything you could ever wish for. It is bigger than the pictures may suggest and we made the most of the brief spells of good weather by spending time in the picturesque garden, We enjoyed quality family time in a wonderful setting. After a shaky start to 2024 with emergency surgery (for myself) and a triple bypass for my husband - this was the best thing that could have happened for us - we are all looking forward to return visits to this outstanding property!

Our down grading of equipment was purely related to the TV 'system'. We never did get the hang of it so struggled to find what we wanted to watch. Everything else was excellent. Local amenities generally excellent but the Saturday Market no longer happens and the Thursday market consisted of 2 stalls ! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Cottage is tucked away in Cul de sac and is difficult to access for unload cases, parking is in a public car park and is quite expensive and if it rains an umbrella is needed. The coutry side around is delightful and good walking.

Very pretty cottage with everything you need. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Close to shops but very quiet location. Only negative is parking. No parking near by where you can keep an eye on your car.

A lovely comfortable cottage. Close to all the towns & trails. Parking a bit of an issue - unpacking etc. I would recommend this cottage again except for 1 drawback - it is situated behind a fast food outlet. The noise at night is constant, Friday being the worst as it went on till 3.30am!! People shunting cages around at the back & security lights going off & on shinning straight into our room. Not very restful.
