Tastefully furnished and decorated in airy, soothing shades, this cheery getaway is perfectly placed for walkers and nature lovers discovering the beautiful countryside of the Waveney Valley.

Entering this quirky, fresh and welcoming cottage, the ground floor has a bright and stylishly updated kitchen and a relaxing lounge/diner with a window seat, wood burner, Smart TV, comfortable seating and exposed timber beams. The hallway also has some office space if you need to catch up with some work. Steep winding stairs take you up to the first floor where you will find the first bedroom: a spacious room with wooden flooring and beams, a sumptuous king-size bed and handy en-suite shower room. Another steep winding staircase leads up to the second floor and a characterful twin bedroom with exposed timber beams set in the low ceilings. This room has a lovely en-suite bathroom with a stylish corner bath. Outside, there’s an enclosed courtyard with garden furniture, offering a charming space to sit back with a morning coffee or a glass of wine.

Halesworth has some great places to eat and drink and is less than 10 miles from the popular seaside resort of Southwold. Perfect for exploring the Suffolk countryside, Halesworth is close to a variety of popular attractions including the Southwold Maize Maze, Henstead Exotic Gardens, RSPB Minsmere, Leiston Abbey and Camel Park Oasis, all within 13 miles.
