A great 2 day stay. On a working farm, so great countryside walks and within easy access to nearby Whalley by car or walking, and Clitheroe by car. Would stay again, but perhaps in one of the larger cottages within the farm.

Excellent location and brilliant for the dog. Some fantastic walks and you are straight out into the countryside. We had a lovely stay! Many thanks to Roy and Kathleen for letting us stay in the cottage along with the lovely welcoming gift. Will be back to explore more. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The best holiday we have had so far. There are loads of walks, you can walk for miles over fields. We visited Gisburn Forrest for the day that was amazing. The cottage was very homely and very cosy. Roy and Kathleen were amazing hosts, welcoming. Our dog is very lively, and loves to explore. So the courtyard bit straight outside the cottage meant that he could still explore but wouldn’t escape! The cottage had everything you needed! Would recommend the place to everyone I know. And we will be returning soon! Thank you Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

What a beautiful part of the world, and a peaceful little haven for a short break. The sheep were in the paddock next to the cottage when we arrived and were baaaaaaaaing away - lovely. Roy and Kathleen were great hosts. The cottage was well stocked with milk, tea, coffee and wine! This little break was so much appreciated after a tough few months. Lots of restaurants in the area - Whalley, Pendle and Clitheroe. And Whalley Abbey gardens are beautiful. Enjoy. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Cottage was nice and thoughtfully equipped. Could have done with lamps downstairs to avoid using overhead lighting in the evening. Main reason why the rating is not higher is that internet kept dropping and was extremely slow when we were on it. We kept having to drive out in the car to use 4G. Shame because we needed the internet during our stay. Otherwise a clean, well ordered cottage in a beautiful location. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The owners of this property are great people. We had such a warm welcome. We will definately go back to this property. One just feels at home, its truely a home away from home. We both loved the place to bits! The owners are a blessed and fantastic couple and words cannot describe them
