York Beach Getaway | Short Walk to Long Sands Beach

Had a little problem with the entry code but local assistance quickly help me resolve the issue.

Amazing location: walkable to Long Sands, great amenities, comfortable stay, and the fact that it included 2 parking spaces was extremely convenient!!

My off-season stay in April was a very relaxing vacation. The house was very clean, parking was safe and easy, and my dog loved being able to walk to the beach for a morning run. My daughters's loved the upstairs loft, and we were able to walk to restaurants for seafood dinners.

While this is a nice place I wouldn’t recommend a winter visit. We arrived after 9pm on a February night when it was snowing. This was not a last minute booking, it was done over a month ahead of time. Upon arrival there was no mat for boots and the floor was incredibly slippery. There were 5 carbon monoxide/fire alarms that were all beeping intermittently because they disconnected from the WiFi because of the weather. It was incessant ALL NIGHT long. We reached out to VRBO and were told nothing could be done until the next day. I myself have this type of alarm and all that needed doing was the owner to shut off the app from their phone. Which wasn’t done until the next day after 7am. Needless to say no one slept. We left for a party around 10am and upon returning all of those particular alarms had been removed. There were regular fire alarms as well that are simple battery operated ones. The only thing offered was an apology. Late check out without an extra fee would have been nice. in my opinion there was plenty of time for the owners/caretakers to prepare for what there knew would be a snowy visit. The place itself was nice, comfortable beds, plenty of space, and the ocean was at the end of the street. However, coffee cups were dirty, the 1/2 bath door didn’t close properly, and there wasn’t a rug for your boots and because of the snow it was slippery and wet on the floor.

The house was adorable. Very warm and welcoming. The host was flexible with checking in and out. And house was very clean. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location

We were there for a family wedding. Union Bluff and Lobster Cove are great places to eat. Dockside Restaurant is a fantastic wedding venue with spectacular views of the harbor.

The condo was very clean and the location was perfect. Just a short walk to the beach. I would recommend this condo to friends.

Great location for us. Across the street from friends on vacation and an easy walk to the beach. Great that chairs a beach caddy were provided. Condo was clean and nicely decorated with plenty of towels, including beach towels for the 7 of us. Bummed not available same time next year. Highly recommend this rental.

Great condo! The place was clean, nicely decorated, great amenities like beach chairs and a caddy, and they even had beach towels because we were short one. The condo was a perfect location for us across the street from friends and walking distance to the beach. Looked to rent again next year and already booked . We really enjoyed our stay!

We just got back from a 3 night stay at this house. First, the location is great! We were easily able to walk to the beach. The house was clean, but had a strong cleaner oder when we arrived that eventually went away. The house itself could use some improvements, but was comfortable. When we first got there the loft was very warm despite the air conditioner going. After my husband investigated we found that the air conditioner was not venting to the outside and blowing hot air in to the room, which my husband had to fix. We also were looking for scissors but couldn’t find any and the remote to the tv didn’t work well. Otherwise, communication from the property management was easy and prompt when we had questions! Overall we enjoyed our Maine vacation.

Tidy home convenient to everything

Good weekend trip. Enjoyed the location. Was very hard to get information on house and in contact with someone to help. Check in/Check out communication is lacking and very confusing. Very hard to work with outside company we believed we were booking through vrbo only.

Perfect 2 night get away in York. Great location and comfortable amenities. Already booked it for a wedding in the area next fall!

The condo was clean, welcoming, and lovely. It was perfectly located to Long Sands. We spent a lot of time in the condo because weather was rainy and cold. The living room furniture was comfortable for reading and watching movies.

The location was perfect and had everything we needed for our stay.

My sister and I, along with our husbands stayed here for a weekend for a wedding. It was the perfect location, clean, and well stocked. Happy we found this place.

We had a great time at this place. It was very clean and has a lot of space. The location is ideal because it is so close to the beach. We will definitely rent this place again.

Right in the middle of everything and just a walk down the beach. We stayed here because we had a wedding near by, my mom stayed with us to watch our kids and was able to walk down to the beach and to the shops with them. Didn’t have to use the car unless you felt it was necessary. The home was easy to get to and clean. We had a nice time.
