Wyndham Ocean Ridge - 2 Bedroom Deluxe

We have aways enjoyed this property. The views from Marsh point and Bay point are spectacular.

We love the location and the view from BayPoint.

Loved our stay here and that we were able to access any Wyndon property on the Island with our braceletss. The condo was clean, nicely decorated. The kitchen had basic utensils so that we cooked there easily. Washer and dryer was a plus. It was quiet and the view of the golf course was lovely. Air conditioning units need new filters and cleaning but worked well. I'm sure the property will attend to this.

Do not rent from this owner! He did not respond to the rental company and they canceled our vacation a week out!

The view on the Bay is lovely and we could see dolphins from our balcony. The owner warned us we might be asked to sit in on a time share when they sent check-in instructions, which was unexpected and unwanted. I wished they had a smart TV where we could have logged into Netflix, etc. for family movie night after a long day at the beach.

Hot tub was not “inside the gate” - had to drive to a nearby sister resort.

First time to this location, very nice and relaxing.

Property was fine. Edisto is quiet…most restaurants closed on Sunday. Was told by host days prior to rental not to mention VRBO to avoid time share sales pitch. Felt uncomfortable saying I was a friend of the club Wyndham owner.

Awesome Vacation… everything was wonderful from the property to the host.

This is the second year renting out this listing. Although it was a different location/unit than we stayed in last year, it was still an amazing place! Great location in Wyndham. We will hopefully be staying here again next year!! :)

Great family oriented community for a family get together! Kid activities and golf available inside the gated community. And the beach is close by.

First, let me say that Wyndham and their staff are amazing. The condo was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Now the bad: These condos are rented through our management company,that then uses VRBO. Three days before we were supposed to be there, they messaged me and told me that they had to cancel our reservation, but could move me to a smaller unit. Being that I was such last-minute, I had no choice, but to accept which left us scrambling looking to place family members elsewhere. The management company tried to tell me that sometimes owners passed away, or sometimes they sell and don’t let them know. However, this is ridiculous because they were quick to accept my reservation and quick to accept my payments Reading back on other reviews, I can see that this has happened to a few people, not just us. This is unfortunate that VRBO lets them get away with this

The condo was pleasant and in a quiet part of the complex. We enjoyed the beach and appreciated being able to order up beach chairs and umbrella.

We originally booked 2 two bedroom units. A week before the stay, the property management company (not Wyndham) texted us that only one bedroom units were available. Because the owners had booked the two bedroom units without notifying them, so they said. Fortunately, another family member had a unit with space available so we made it work. The check in process is stressful with tight parking. Wyndham even tried to pull my credit report while checking in trying to see if I was a timeshare prospect. Then comes the pitch to attend a sales presentation. Otherwise, the property is beautiful and well maintained, convenient to the beach. We enjoyed the stay once we got past the checkin.

Our room was mostly clean. We did have spiderwebs above our door inside our room and tons of bugs on our exterior door and entry way. Our back deck was dirty and needed pressure washing. There were dirty linens and another bag of dirty linens on the first floor condo which we had to pass on our way to our second floor unit. The linens were there the entire stay! Our room was okay. Other than the spiderwebs there were no other bugs. We appreciated the washing machine, beach towels, and close proximity to a beach access. We didn’t have to drive to the beach. It was a short walk. The one pool we visited was very nice. We didn’t like the timeshare pitch they attempted to give us after check in to receive a welcome packet. The host was responsive to all of my messages before the trip. We didn’t tell him about our annoyances because there was probably not much he could do about it. We had fun at the beach but we won’t stay with Wyndham again.

Our condo had the best view of the bay. It was the best part of our vacation.

…it was all good. The Wyndham resort was a wonderful place in terms of beach access, cleanliness, amenities, etc. The check in experience was stressful with tight parking and the inevitable solicitation to attend a timeshare presentation. We were involuntarily downgraded from two bedroom units to one bedroom units, but we made it work.

Super convenient and clean property. Would definitely go back.
