Wrightsville Dunes F-2B - Oceanfront condo with community pool, tennis, beach

This is a lovely property and I hope to return some time. Available Beach chairs at the property would be a nice addition. Renting chairs for just one or 2 days is inconvenient. We have stayed at other beach properties in Delaware and chairs were avaliable to use which is super nice.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit had wonderful views and very easy access to the beach. The floorplan was awesome and there was plenty of room for the 5 of us. Kitchen is fully stocked and parking was convenient too. Nice to have an elevator as one of our party did not navigate stairs too well.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit did not come as advertised. The furniture was dirty and dated. The sofa was extremely stained to the point we did not feel comfortable using it without covering it. The mattress in the master bedroom was well passed needing to be replaced. Some of the appliances had been updated, but some are pretty old. Both bathrooms are very dated. The unit was not cleaned well. It didn’t appear the floor mats for bed spreads had been cleaned. Every other day we’d have to chase down and get rid of a roach. There was a sewage smell coming out of the sinks. One of the reasons we went with this unit was because it had a washer and dryer. We checked in on Friday discovered a couple hours later that the washer did not work. We called Intercoastal Realty the next morning but didn’t get a call back. We continued to call until we reached someone, who connected us with their maintenance rep. The maintenance rep said this was a known problem and we should have been notified, and a service appointment had already been scheduled for Tuesday. So, this issue was known prior to our check-in and we were not told nor were we asked if it was acceptable to have a service appointment during our visit, during a global pandemic. We made arrangements to be out of the way on Tuesday for the service appointment, but the repairman didn’t show up. The repairman did show up unexpectedly late Wednesday afternoon (2 days before check-out). Throughout the process, Intracoastal Realty was difficult to deal with. They didn’t return calls and didn’t even attempt to act like they cared about any of this unit’s issues. Intracoastal Realty continuously put the blame on the owner and acted like there was nothing they could do. Wrightsville Dunes is a nice place, great location, great views, nice pools. But this unit was not nice and you should avoid using Intracoastal Realty if you can!

Seating sufficient for 20 person dinner and kitchen well equipped. Hope fix intranet before next year as put deposit down for same period next year.

To need so much, But, Perfectly stocked with all needed to cook, eat, and enjoy a visit with family.But it needed so much!The rental needs a TOTAL CLEANING! Pillows smell, BUGS, twin beds one about to break down and both too small, no mattress cover for one, rugs, coaches, chairs food stained...!

Decorating & LR furniture is old but still comfortable.We had maintenance:1) change filthy ac unit filters 2) replace totally broken laundry & kitchen ceiling light fixtures — those two areas were dark 3) all fire detectors/alarms needed batteries or replacement. Electrician was ultimately required, as explained, since light bulb replacement couldn’t solve lighting problems. Think problems were fixed, so could recommend because of fabulous location.

The unit was in a nice location, beautiful view, and close beach access. Everything in the unit was functional, however it could use some updating in the bathrooms & kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked, but it could use a thorough cleaning & purging of quite a few questionable items (rusty knives, some things not clean, etc.). Overall a decent value.
