Stayed Jul 20, 2025Darcie and Dan were amazingly friendly, personable and welcoming. My husband and I traveled back to Petersburg to see family and celebrate 20 years together in the place we met 30 years ago. The ease of check in and out was amazing. Our Dogs were welcome and for our time there it felt like home. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we find ourselves returning. Our hosts made sure we had a wonderful, beautiful, relaxing stay.

Stayed Jul 10, 2025Beautiful home and location. Deer came right up to the home. Short drive into town for restaurants and shops. Easy drives to local hikes and fishing. We saw bears, eagles, seals, porcupines, humpbacks whales, and so many birds. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed, gave great suggestions for the area, and were friendly but not intrusive. One of our favorite vacations!

Stayed Aug 11, 2024Staying at this property was a dream come true. In my month, long trip to Petersburg i was able to stay at theWrangell house for 2 weeks of it. It would be my preferred place to stay again if i'm lucky enough to make it back.. The place is comfortable in clean. Stayed Jul 27, 2024We loved our stay at the Getaway! Darcie and Dan made every effort to be sure we had what we needed and were comfortable. The view is outstanding, great fun to watch the procession of fishing boat headed out for openings. We will be back as we come often to visit family in Petersburg!
