What a truly wonderful stay we had at Carole’s little paradise, Riverwalk on Water! Beautifully and tastefully appointed from top to bottom, a well equipped kitchen, free parking, and a super responsive and helpful host! We have found our Wilmington retreat! Some of the best moments of our getaway were sitting on the patio watching people, puppies and spectacular sunsets! Honestly can’t say enough about this special place

Riverwalk on Water was everything we’d hoped for and then some. Extremely clean, very responsive host (although we didn’t need anything, but she reached out to check on us and assured us to call if we needed anything at all)We walked everywhere (plenty of restaurants and shops)except to Wrightsville beach, and across the bridge to the battleship.

We had an amazing stay right on the Wilmington Riverwalk. The view was absolutely beautiful, and being right up front made it even better. Our patio door opened directly onto the Riverwalk, which made it so convenient to step outside and enjoy the scenery.Everything we needed was within walking distance—restaurants, coffee shops, and plenty of places to explore. The property itself was very modern, clean, and well maintained. We truly have zero complaints about our stay.Our host was also incredible—super helpful, informative, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall it was a fantastic experience, and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Excellent location on the Riverwalk. Carole was quick to respond to any inquiries. The place was clean and comfortable. Parking was close and the location was within walking distance to many restaurants. We will book again on our next to Wilmington.

Communication was fast & helpful. All the things you'd want in a host. The place was spotless and organized. A bunder was included with all the necessary info. Kitchen well stocked. Free parking was a very nice perk.

We had a wonderful stay at Riverwalk on Water! The location is well within walking distance to multiple restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping venues. The property was very nicely decorated, clean as a whistle and had a gorgoeus view of the Cape Fear River. We had a little confusion with the parking at first, but once we were settled, we never needed our car, because the location was so good. We were there in the off season so plenty of free parking was available, but could be a different story in a busier season. Overall, this is a fabulous property and we will most certainly return! Can't wait to rebook!

We visited for 3 nights mid December and mid-week and what a great time we had being in walking distance to all there is to see and do in historic Wilmington. Perfect Christmas time little getaway! The Riverwalk this time of year is sparkling and fairy like. Carol's place was so clean and cozy. Everything you need for your stay is there. The living room has a back door that is directly on the Riverwalk and the front door opens up to cute stores (My favorite shop was Eclectic which is across the street and to the right, a skip away). Loved walking and reading the plaques on all the beautiful historic houses. Horse drawn carriages, Elijah's on Wednesday nights for 1/2 price oysters and karaoke...just so much to do that we left our car parked the whole time.Bed mattress and linens sooo comfy! OMG! You wont want to get uo in the mornings! Oh, we are in lates 50's and 60's and enjoyed the museum of the weird (I think thats what it is called), the mirror maze was neat. I forgot anything there is a Dollar General on the Riverwalk about 5 min walk. ENJOY AND GOD BLESS

This is truly lovely property right on the river. It is very clean and the bed very comfortable. It is located in an area with plenty to do within walking distance. If we come back to the area we will stay here again!

Awesome condo. Very clean and great location. Ate breakfast both mornings on the patio overlooking the River Walk. Plenty of shops, restaurants and breweries within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay on the Wilmington Riverwalk was delightful. The condo was perfect. Comfortable, clean, stylish and so convenient to everything Wilmington has to offer. We loved sitting on the patio with our morning coffee watching the river and the people going by and really enjoyed the choice of restaurants only a short stroll away. We will definitely choose to stay again at the condo on the Riverwalk.

My husband & I rented this property for our 27th wedding anniversary. It was super clean, tastefully decorated, and looked newly renovated. Everything seemed well-built. (No creaky floors or doors that didn't close well.) The best part was that we parked our car and didn't use it again for the whole trip. We walked everywhere, and there was plenty to do. Great restaurants, guided Wilmington tours, sunset boat trips, and window shopping. In the evening, we sat on the back porch and watched the boats go by. We had a great time. Thanks to Carole for allowing us to stay at her beautiful property.

The condo is wonderful! !Beautiful decor, everything has been updated &it is spotless!You can walk out the front or back door to shops and restaurants. It’s located in a very clean, cute part of Wilmington located on the Cape Fear River. We would definitely rent this fabulous condo again!!!

This beautiful updated house could not be in a better location! Walkable to all of the restaurants and shops and the parking was an added plus. The inside was clean and beautifully decorated. Carole did a great job of communicating and checking. We loved sitting outside enjoying the wonderful view! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Wilmington!

only thing i would change is to add some decaf coffee pods. other than that, it was a great weekend

Beautiful house, fabulous location, and impeccably clean! The deck is fantastic and it was so wonderful to watch the sunset over the water! Location was perfect for us and we could walk to wherever we wanted to go. Will definitely stay here again!

If you’re looking to stay in the heart of downtown Wilmington, look no further! This lower level condo offers great views of the water and immediate access to the Wilmington River Walk. We booked a sunset cruise from a place 3-4 down from the condo and ate at wonderful restaurants and breweries. Carol’s place is beautifully decorated and cozy.

Very nice, everything as advertised. Spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished, well equipped with nice little touches. There is no better place to be located – 15 (or less) minute walk to at least a month’s worth of bars and restaurants. Park your car once for the entire stay. The patio is actually on the Riverwalk. Not mentioned anyplace is the convenient access to Sauce’d, the cocktail bar roughly 30’ away. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything you would ever want in a vacation rental. Superb location literally on the Riverwalk, the river just steps (maybe 5 steps) from the patio. Very clean. Beautifully renovated and organized compact apartment in historical building with elegant and comfortable furnishings. Tons of restaurants, shops and activities nearby (museum, boats) The bed and linens are excellent quality. The kitchen is well stocked (even has little plates for olive oil). The bathroom is upscale. Really just an excellent rental in historic Wilmington.

This is a great location right on the Cape Fear river in Wilmington. Close to everything and a really well appointed place. Loved everything about it. Highly recommend staying here, I know we will in the future.

This was our 2nd stay at the condo in a few weeks. We thoroughly love the convenience of walking distance to downtown for both food and shopping. The bed and furniture are comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio and watching the river sunsets as well as people watching!

My husband and I were looking for a quick get away for the weekend to celebrate our second anniversary! This property was perfect. We loved everything about it. It was walking distance to everything we wanted to do in downtown Wilmington. The parking was very close and easy to get in and out of. Carol was super friendly and answered all of our questions. The Decor was amazing and so impressive.. such a treat to find this gem ! We will definitely be back! I loved that it was close but also quiet. We felt very safe and comfortable in the area. We had a lovely first time exploring Wilmington & staying in this comfortable well designed bungalow. The location was excellent-amazing restaurants, bars, shopping all within walking distance.

This is a CLEAN, well designed, and nicely appointed riverside rental which deserves its many accolades. The location is unbeatable, with many restaurants and historic sites within walking distance, and the Riverwalk itself on the other side of the deck gate. The view from the deck, where I spent lots of time reading, is constantly changing with the time of day and the cloud patterns. It’s a mesmerizing photo op! The unit itself includes a living room with comfortable furniture and a small L- shaped kitchen with everything needed for self-catering, a large screen smart TV, and good lighting from both overhead and floor lamps. A high top table for two completes the living area. The hall has a large bathroom with walk-in shower and a stackable washer dryer unit in a closet. The bedroom has a comfortable king size bed as well as a large screen TV, ample closet and drawer space, and bedside lighting. It is perfect for a couple, and my husband and I relished our relaxing visit. We didn’t t do as much sightseeing as I expected because the comfort and peace of the unit called us to stay. A parking voucher gave us place at a nearby parking lot. We highly recommend this slice of perfection in Wilmington. 😎👍👍

Carole has done an amazing job with this condo. Everything from the modern renovation, design, and furniture, to the most comfortable King bed, to the little thoughtful touches, such as the helpful info booklet, providing ample toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dishwashing pods.... And on top of that, the location is the talk of the River Walk. Seriously, every person that walks by takes notice of the beautiful patio and location right on the river. I'm sure she has no issues keeping this place booked, so if it's available, I say book it! While it's in the middle of some foot traffic, it feels tucked in and private, with curtains, and blinds when you want it. It really does look as lovely as the photos! You cannot beat that view of the river! This was probably the best vacation rental we have ever stayed in. Oh, and the place is immaculately clean, and Carole checked in on us several times during our stay.

This was the perfect place for our anniversary getaway. The condo was clean, had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable. The location was just want we needed for a relaxing trip. We spent a lot of time exploring the immediate area, trying restaurants (We highly recommend brunch at Rooster & the Crow, which is just steps from the condo!), checking out shops, and taking boat tours. Places like Wrightsville Beach and Greenfield Lake Amphitheater were easy to get to and from.
