Wonderful location. Spotless condo and the grounds were immacculate. The beach walks and wildlife spotting were amazing. One thing I would fix is replacing the queen-sized mattress. It sags into the middle and did not supply a good night's sleep. The king sized mattress was good, though. Some VRBO properties supply laundry soap (there was only one pod provided). Also, you must buy your own plastic ziplocs, foil, and anything you need for cooking in terms of oil or spices. We did not cook, so it did not bother us. There were coffee filters for the drip coffee maker though, which was appreciated. The patio view was excellent, but some of the chairs need to be replaced or repaired because they are broken. We went to Walmart and purchased 3 beach chairs and an umbrella for our stay and left them at the property. Hopefully they will be available for the next guests! You also have to bring your own beach towels. Again, some properties provide both beach chairs and beach towels, but this property did not. We definitely would stay here again if the queen mattress gets replaced.

The complex has multiple outdoor pools and an indoor pool! Very nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, serving, and storing. This unit is very roomy!!

Great stay for young families as the beach is easily accessed.

Kitchen was fairly well equipped. The outdoor pool was not open and we did not know that in advance. (We were there in early March) The indoor pool was fine and not busy. Wasps on the balcony ended up limiting its use until we realized keeping the ceiling fan on kept them away. The living room was comfortable and spacious. The proximity to the beach was great (right outside our door) and it was fun to see the changes between high and low tide. Beach was not crowded and other nearby beaches were great as well.

We were looking for a very low key place for a few days to relax. This was perfect! It had everything we needed, was super close to the water and easy to get to all the fun Places in Hilton Head from. We did not use the pool but it looked like it was being used and was great. Comfortable beds, bedding and pillows.

For years we come to the same place twice a year. We will continue to do so. You can’t put the price on the location and the view of the ocean. It’s the best part of the island in our opinion - no traffic, all stirs are close, airport, even hospital within 3-5 min drive. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed staying at Spa Royale. Our condo was a few steps from the ocean. It was nice and quiet in the evening. Very easy to communicate with the host, beds were very comfortable, and it looked exactly like it said on VRBO.

We had a great time! The view is unbeatable for the money. The unit was clean and cozy. Although we didn't cook during our stay, the kitchen was well appointed if one wanted to cook in. The grounds were beautifully maintained. The property is very peaceful and a little off the beaten path, but still convenient to anything you could want or need. I highly recommend.

We came to celebrate my hubby's 60th birthday and everything was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I had a great time . We need that time off. The place was everything we were looking for, the right sizes near the beach and the pool.

Fabulous location with stunning views from deck...enjoyed my coffee each morning watching the sunrise. Ample parking, excellent kitchen appliances (fell in love with the washer & dryer!), comfy beds, convenient outside bike storage for our rentals, easy access to property with no traffic issues, and beautifully maintained pools. Responsive owner who provided helpful instructions in advance - would highly recommend this rental with its secluded location on the sound!

Property was as described. Communication with owner was excellent. Property was a little dated but very clean. The 2 bedroom and 2 bath set up was perfect for 2 couples as each had a private bathroom connected to their bedroom. We enjoyed being on the quieter end of Hilton Head, but still close to good restaurants. Property is close to the airport and you will hear planes but only during daytime hours. We loved being able to sit on the deck and watch the tides come and go. We would definitely book this condo again!

This was a quick weekend trip and we had an amazing time. Not only was the condo clean but the complex and location was perfect. Right on the water with lots of shade and paths..my son thoroughly enjoyed the koi in the pond. We got to see an eagle on the beach as well. Its a gated property so i felt safe. The only surprise was a 25 dollar charge per car but that wasn't a big deal. I will definitely stay here again!!

Loved the quiet and relaxing stay at The Spa and Port Royal over Thanksgiving week. Our balcony view over the pool and ocean were wonderful. We loved exploring the sand and tidal pools every morning due to the extreme tidal flow exposing so much of the beach. We saw horseshoe crabs everyday! The condo was comfortable. Good sturdy furniture and not just flimsy wicker couches. Loved the comfy throw blankets we used on the couches in the evenings. The king bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice location in a quiet area of HHI and with a car you can easily get to busier places. Or if you don't and you just want to chill out you can do that too. We would stay here again for sure

Husband and I decided to stay on Hilton Head a couple of extra days and found this pace somewhat last minute. Unit was very clean, had everything we needed. Best part was the view from the front door and patio and access to the “beach” . Such an interesting location on the sound with such a swing in the tides! Very quiet complex. Ice maker in fridge makes ice like crazy! Looks like owner is making updates bit by bit. Would definitely return again. One thing not mentioned or maybe I missed it was that there was a fee for the guest pass that was required to be paid in cash.

Dissapointed that no mention made in listing of ebikes being banned on property. We specifically chose HH for numerous bike trails. Other than that, the condo and view are great.

We had some difficulty getting out of our home north of Asheville and to Hilton Head due to Hurricane Helene. Our host was very gracious and helpful and we were able to make it. The condo was the cleanest beach property I have ever stayed in. It is very nicely decorated in neutral tones and the furniture is kept very clean. The condo has been updated and has newer appliances and the kitchen was very comfortable to cook in. Even the balcony has tile instead of carpet or fake grass. We enjoyed the view of the water. Even though you can't really swim there and have to drive to a public beach, you are able to walk a long way down the beach and you are mostly surrounded by nature instead of 100's of other condos. I would rather stay in this condo due to its peaceful and beautiful location than stay at a beachfront that has no abiance.

Loved taking in the sound. Lovely grounds, very well kept. Perfect for a long weekend to attend a wedding.

Beautiful views, we really loved being on the sound. So quite and peaceful. The complex is really nice and clean. The room was as described, had everything that you needed. Loved being able to sit on the balcony and look at the water and watch planes fly over since it's close to the airport. Look forward to coming back again.
