We enjoyed our stay! Was nice having water access to float and snorkel. Water wasn't the clearest close to property but much better out by the point where there was a school of 10-15 parrot fish, a small barracuda, and a few other fish types. The week we were there, we only spent a day and a half hanging out at the property as we had other things we wanted to do. So might of seen more wildlife if we spent more time on property, but still enjoyed what we saw! Including the sunset views!!The place had everything for a comfortable stay. Muffet made sure we had everything we needed and enjoyed our little chats. Was definitely an unique experience for us as we've never stayed at a place where the host was also on property. She is very respectful of her guests and truly cares that they are having a wonderful time.One thing to be aware of is that the washer and dryer are outside. I usually like to do laundry in the evening after you're done for the day. So it's dark and it rained a lot at night when we were there. Even so we got our laundry done lol.I'm happy I booked this place. It's an older property but is very clean and has a lot of charm and little extras other places don't offer.Thanks for you kindness Muffet! I wished I would have gotten a pic with you before we left. Didn't think of it until after we left!

Muffett's place is excellent! Centrally located in Marathon, but far enough off of Hwy. 1 that you don't hear the traffic, and you couldn't get any closer to the water. My husband was very happy with the onshore fishing also. The apartment is also kept immaculately clean and has everything you could need for your stay. We've already booked for next year!

This property was absolutely stunning! We had the most wonderful time. The views of the Gulf, the sunsets....saw Dolphins and loved watching the pelicans. Muffet has thought of everything for a perfect stay. The living space was cozy and comfortable. We loved hearing the history of the space and the functionality was amazing. It's secluded and quiet, yet mere steps away from the hustle and bustle of Marathon. We biked most days to the beach....did a few day trips to explore, but our favorite times were relaxing at the property. We did not want to leave and are already planning our return trip.

Muffet (the host) is such a nice person. Considerate, helpful, laid back and quite funny. Very accommodating. The apartment was great. Had everything we needed. The property is a quiet oasis in a very busy area. Plenty of room and very beautiful spot. Fishing from the dock was very productive using chum from the bait store right down the street. Almost every sundown was spectacular! This is a very special spot. Highly recommend.

Absolutely Amazing Space! The Sunsets were epic! We spent every evening watching the fish and the boats roll by. Our son caught so many fish! He said this was one of his best vacations ever! Would definitely stay here again!

This was our third stay at Muffet’s beautiful home. Her home is spotless and the perfect amount of space for me and my husband. The entire property is a very peaceful area to get away from the stresses of life. She is such a kind and welcoming host and treats you like part of her family and allows you to feel at home when staying there. We can’t wait till we can return again.

Our accommodations were very neat and clean. Muffett has thought of everything you may need. The views of the Gulf were spectacular. Plus you could sit and watch the boats come in and out.The pool was perfect to cool off and relax.One of our favorite dinners was right next door at Key Fisheries. We loved our time spent here so much that we didn't want to leave. We are already planning our next getaway here. Muffett was a warm, friendly host. We loved talking with her. We both feel like we made a new friend on this vacation.

We had a fabulous vacation after a very long drive! From watching gorgeous sunsets and boats along the shore to fishing off the pier, Muffet's piece of paradise checked all of our boxes! We also enjoyed having a place our old lady dog was safe, cool, and comfortable! Muffet was the perfect host! We look forward to coming back someday soon! Thanks for everything!!

Amazing stay. The property is just magical. We spent a lot of our vacation at the property. Best sunsets in the keys. Muffett is the best host and makes sure everything is perfect. We have stayed here many times and its our favorite spot in the Keys. Our home away from home. Close to everything yet very private.

What a special place with so many personal touches that make a beautiful property feel like a home away from home. This worked perfectly for our family of three and we were so thankful for Muffett’s hospitality. It was a quiet place with beautiful sunsets and access to both a pool and private water access for snorkeling and swimming. We left property a few days but mostly just enjoyed all the beauty on site.

What a fantastic place to spend a vacation! We hopped in the lagoon almost every day for a swim or float. You have the option of sun or shade at the shore here too! We loved everything about this place.Our hostess, Muffet is an absolute peach. We will return for sure!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home in Marathon, Fl. Muffet’s place is pure magic. She is right on the water with a cute little place (it honestly is much larger than it looks in the photos), a great outdoor area with small soaking pool, ping pong, outdoor bar, and numerous clusters of chairs for socializing and just relaxing taking in the sunsets. Muffet was also amazing, giving us advice and being a gracious host. She became a friend while we were there. I will miss our relaxing days when home. If you love the Jeys and are looking for the most beautiful place to unwind, this is the place!

Came for a week over Christmas after the passing of my father. Muffet and her piece of paradise was exactly what this Daddy’s girl needed. We rented bikes locally and used them to investigate Marathon and even took them to Key West for a day as well. We enjoyed all the local restaurants but the Stuffed Pig was a pleasant surprise for breakfast. We will definitely stay with Muffet again in the future.

Just what we needed to unwind. Great location close to the best eateries. Hostess Muffett is so very helpful. The sunsets were outstanding.
