Waterfront condo with shared pool, gym & game room, close to everything

The building itself is nice, property pool is clean, the residents are very helpful. We enjoyed it, but won't be coming back. On arrival we couldn't access the elevator door because the codes didnt work, we were lucky enough to have a resident let us in while figuring it out. It took 3 calls to the 1-800 number the following morning, since no one would answer the local number for us. I recieved a text, but no answer on a solution. Ended up having to just drive down to the office and they promptly gave me a key fob stating this happens sometimes. In the unit, there was mold on the guest room vents, almost every utensil in the drawers were dirty, the sheets and towels smelled so heavily of bleach I ended up having to wash them, many of the walls were very scuffed/dirty, the master bathtub faucet was bringing up sand (filled and emptied it three times to be sure. We also found multiple live roaches in the kitchen. Having lived in eastern NC my entire life, these were dirty roaches not the just because you live in NC roaches. Overall it was a convenient place in the middle of the island, but a lot of hassle for the price. Hopefully others have a better experience.

Pros- Clean, spacious, quiet and lovely views. We enjoyed our stay. Cons- door lock was aggravating- hard to get to unlock/lock with code. Beach access is not close. Across the road but quite a long walk. Sheets were a little rough. All in all the good outweighed any bad. It's about a 15 min ride to get to restaurants and such. If you're looking for quiet and serene this is your place!

Very comfortable and provided good nights sleep. Beautiful views and large rooms. Could use an update on glassware, wineglasses, etc. Really, very nice overall.

We love this location. This is the second residence we have stayed in here and it’s been amazing both times. We love the property and the locations convenient to all we love. We love fishing so this is a great spot for us being sound side. We are already looking to book next summers trip.

Property was in great condition and amenities were a great addition to our stay.

Very nice place but the front door lock really needs work. We did not use anything in the kitchen except the coffee pot. There were a few noticeable roaches in the dishwasher and bathroom. It was very clean.

The Views are great from both sides of the unit. it is really roomy for a condo. Prents are 87 and 84 and used to own some property jut up the beach and we have vacationed here for years. Only negatives were it was not really handicapped which has nothing to do with this place..that was on me.. As for check in there were plenty of emails and follow up but must hit # before the elevator code. And bring most anything you want in terms of salt/pepper, etc that you might find in other rentals. Nothing but the basics here upon arrival. Again not a problem but good to know for anyone wanting to rent. Enjoyed the stay and would stay here again for sure.

Is quit place.. and a lot of space.

The balcony was excellent. It was clean and had anything we could possibly need.

The place was nice, and roomy, and well priced. However not well maintained, and the little things such a hair dryer, adequate towels, working appliances, locks, lighting were lacking and seemed like a habitual oversight. I would likely stay again in the same situation, but would expect less and consider an alternate in the same price range. I chose this place for the room, (I had three 18 year old boys with me and wanted space and bathrooms), I could not get away for a one week booking and this place allowed for shorter stays. The location was great, it felt safe, and had some really good amenities for my purpose (a gym, game room and pool).

The complex is great in reference to: location, living space, Intercoastal Waterway & Ocean views, Amenities, Safety, Parking, Price Upgrades &/or Repairs or Replacements: Dishwasher, bedding linens, some furnishings, umbrella for Balcony, utensils & cooking supplies All-n-All; the Condo was Averagely Equipped & Basically Clean but a bit more attention to details could make this a Dream Vacation Rental with a 5* rating

The property was pretty well maintained and clean great community and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. Some small items like a ceiling fan in bedroom apparently lost the cord to allow fan to operate without the light on and bathroom in bedroom #3 the toilet runs as stopper needs replaced and front door needs weatherstrip to seal door and save energy costs. Overall a beautiful view and good layout (3 BR and 3 Bath). We would stay here again good amenities and close to beaches very relaxing atmosphere.

Finished the school year and headed to this condo. So relaxing! It has beautiful views of the sound in the back and the ocean in the front. It was so peaceful. Just what I needed after teaching this year. This unit has great views, beautiful pool, and amenities on the top floor as well as it is walking distance to the beach. It looks better than the pictures. Check in and check out was simple. There is no food products in the unit. Bring your own salt and pepper. A non stick pan would be helpful. Vacasa was very helpful changing bulbs and answering questions. Garbage receptacles are at the front entrance. Beautiful condo, hope to return again!
