Walk to Shore! Ocean-View Condo in Carolina Beach

We liked the location and that it had been nicely updated especially the kitchen. We did not like that it is OLD, evidenced by rust and rotten boards throughout the buildings. It was clearly furnished in odds and ends. Major concern was the entry door lock only worked from the inside so we could not ensure security while away. Owner apologized and said repair is scheduled but it did not resolve the matter for us. Terrible soft mattresses, living room rug is filthy, sandy dirty floors at initial entry, rental linens were paper-thin and cheapest towels one can buy, some in poor condition. Pictures seem to hide that the condo overlooks the pool although the beach is seen beyond. There were no chairs at the pool and none provided with the rental. Internet was down 2nd evening (of 3), TV did not work on last evening, controller for dvd was not found until 2nd evening. There was only 1 bedside lamp with 4 guests in 3 beds. The cleaning fee is grossly excessive given the tiny 900' area which could be well cleaned in 2 hours, and that the beds were not made when we arrived requiring us to do it. This condo is quite expensive for its size and age and certainly not worth the cost. We would not recommend it.

Lovely, comfortable condo in a great location!

Communication with owner was great. We were able to access the unit earlier than check in time, which was great for my parents who had a longer distance to drive. View of ocean was wonderful. Can’t beat the location. Would stay again!

Location was so close to everything. The view of the water was gorgeous! Very clean and the communication from the host was top notch! Would happily book this place again.

The property was as described. The unit has an amazing view of the beach and easy access to it. I did wish the second bedroom had a different configuration to maximize the use of the balcony. We did get a lot of rain on day three and four of our stay due to a tropical storm that resulted in some leaking in the master bedroom. The property manager was excellent and quickly answered our questions. We enjoyed our stay even though it rained, I would recommend this property for a small family/group.

Good stay everything was good parking was okay pool and the oceanfront was great

The place was just what we needed for our stay at the beach. The 2 bedrooms and 2 baths were perfect for the 4 of us. Easy access to beach!

Good for a quick little beach trip!

We enjoyed our stay. The area is quiet , clean and private. The parking between owners / condo renters is some what difficult but overall definitely will stay at one of thier other properties.

Cute ocean view condo with easy parking. Beds were comfortable and the space was clean.
