Stayed Jun 26, 2018Loved the fact we are walking distance to cute shops, restaurants and Gruene Hall. Took some poles down to the river and did some fishing.

Didn't have an issue with anything at all. Awesome location to walk to everything in Gruene, and right on the river which was beautiful! Highly recommend this place!

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was great and in the PERFECT location. We loved being able to walk to everything around Gruene without worrying about parking or leaving. If you’re looking for somewhere to tie up and float at the condo, this is NOT the place! There is water access, but not the water access you’re thinking! Also very steep to walk down to the water, which didn’t bother us. The views are gorgeous and this condo is somewhere we will be staying again! 10/10!

Stayed Mar 15, 2025Perfect for getting to sights in Austin, San Antonio and Fredericksburg. The town of Gruene and New Braunfels had a lot to offer as well. There was walkable access to food, entertainment, rafting. The traffic in the area was busy for such a small town but the unit comes with 2 parking spots if needed. It was nice to have Netflix at the unit for the teens. Overall great experience.

Reviewer Comments: The property is clean & comfortable, within walking distance to all of our points of interest and served it’s need/purpose; however, it is getting harder and harder to plan and enjoy such family trips due to the increase in cost & additional (third party) fees. It’s a great place to getaway to but — after 14 summers of doing so — has gotten well outside of budget and means.
