Stayed Sep 20, 2024We had a bit of trouble getting in initially but called the number for Vrbo and the representative stayed on the line with us until we were in! He was so patient. The property itself was stunning. The rooms were large, well furnished, and more than met our needs. Highly recommend this property.

Stayed Jan 19, 2026Great space. Large apartment with comfortably furnished. Located near several restaurants. The train, which comes through down town, was not an issue but there was some early morning noise related to trash pickup.

Stayed Jan 11, 2026zero parking. The building is offset from the street, hidden. No one gave me a heads up. The online portal is GARBAGE, doesn’t load any info. The door code did not work. They messaged me (through vrbo) admitting the code wouldn’t work but use this instead: that’s right, they gave me no code. I stood there COLD messaging for nearly 30 minutes trying to get inside. When I got inside, the unit was spacious. It looked nice.everything seemed OK until I saw remnants of food dried on the counter space. And when I got to the bedroom, the sheets smelled like someone had been sleeping there. They had not been washed. Stains hidden in blankets. It was incredibly cold outside, but they left the heat completely off. It was 55 in that unit. it took hours for the heat to come up to a comfortable temperature. (68)I tried to settle in, but then someone began ding-dong ditching. After hours of this, I discovered it was the old woman next-door. She would ring, run into her unit and stare behind her door to see if anyone would open it. This was infuriating. I was scared, unaware of who was pranking me. She demanded to know who was staying there and if i was a renter. The only cooking amenities, an old bottle of pepper. The train station is directly across the street so be prepared for no sleep. This is incredibly loud at all hours. Woke up to cops downstairs due to break-in. this place is clearly staged to sell, and the company does not care about the comfort of any renters.

Stayed Nov 20, 2025Parking a big issue plus excessive community and train noise make it difficult to sleep especially on weekends. Unit itself is very nice and comfortable with good security.

Stayed Nov 5, 2025It should be advertised that you are literally above several bars and that it can be very very loud. Obviously a downtown location which was desired but this brought noise to a new level. Was not so cool for us as we had to battle getting and keeping a child asleep. The property as far as downtown was great, space was great in size.

Stayed Oct 10, 2025This is a great downtown location! We were close to many restaurants, shopping and events. The street noise was not really an issue for us, but the train came thru at least 3 times each night and it is right outside the bedroom windows. Noise from other apartments was not noticeable. Check in was a breeze. Parking was easy for us, but we have a disabled family member and used handicap parking right outside the property. Lot parking was nearby though. The grounds, building and apartment were each neat and clean.

Stayed Mar 14, 2025This downtown apartment is nicely decorated, very clean, and within walking distance to many locations in Johnson City; however, that proximity comes with a high noise level. There is a bar directly under the apartments that stays open until 3 am. They play music and there is a lot of activity outside of the door. The host does provide some noise cancelling devices in the bedrooms, and once I realized I could turn up the volume (white noise), it was helpful in being able to sleep. They have provided most things that you need, coffee maker (including coffee pods), etc. TV is set up as mostly subscription based streaming platforms, but we didn't really need TV for this stay. A couple more surfaces for placing things (luggage, toiletries, etc.), such as a console table under the TV in bedroom, would be helpful.

Stayed Mar 12, 2025Condo itself is in very good shape—aside from laundry room door that does not close. Propped it shut with a pillow ‘cuz door swings into middle of hallway between bedroom and bathroom.Do you like to be in the throes of industrial/urban livelihood? Well, you’d be perched directly above a town center where there are loads of excellent restaurants/bars/public parking. CAVEAT EMPTOR! This liveliness includes (1) a very active train line runs less than 100 yards from the front of the building. And because the train runs through downtown the understandably loud whistle blares regularly until well past nightfall, and resumes at 6am because, well, the supply chain’s obituary hasn’t yet been written. (2) the pretty good (not exceptional) food and drink provisioned directly below at street level attract revelers—even on an unexceptional Wednesday night—whose joie de vivre carries effortlessly into the two bedrooms whose windows grant easy visual and auditory access to the festivities below.Free nearby parking is ample, convenient, and safe—provided you are a seasoned public parker who does not proffer temptation on the form of enticing bags, bobbles, and boopty-bopps in easy view of passers-by. In our overnight experience this overall welcome public arrangement was abused by some petro-masculinists who found assertive enjoyment in regularly pronouncing their presence by engorging the surrounding space by trolling their throbbing engines with full throttle thrust—like it not.

Stayed Mar 1, 2025The property is located in the very busy downtown area. There are freight train tracks across the busy street, with a train going through the intersection a few times a day. There is a popular bar on the first floor of the building (we were on the 3rd) that rocked until 3am on our first night. There was a physical fight on the street below our window, to which there was a large police response at 2:00am. The train whistle blasting though the night and early morning was jarring, to say the least. Dumpster pick-up for those businesses below happened (very loudly) between 4:30 and 5am every day of our stay. Parking is very difficult, as tenants in the building are issued parking permits. Short-term renters (like us) don't have that and must compete for 7-8 nearby spaces in what I mentioned is a very busy and active downtown. Also, the unit needs a good deep-clean. I won't expand on that but if cleanliness matters to you, you should be aware. We received auto-generated reminders throughout our stay about checking out promptly. In my response, I shared that we did not need a reminder, as we were more than ready to leave. If you are looking for a peaceful, clean and convenient site while visiting Johnson City, this might not be a first choice.
