Very spacious and comfortable place we loved the club house and very close to Safeway It was a very pleasant stay
Enjoyed the spectacular views, the spacious condo, and the club house with basketball, ping pong, swimming and hot tub.
Layout, kitchen,Location and clubhouse plus. Negatives - Bathroom supplies lacking for size. Amenities should be usable-Deck/grill covered in snow/ice. Upstairs shower leaked into kitchen area. Couldn’t use 2 of 3 closets as filled with linen top-to-bottom & other had boxes. Wall heating in bunk room could be a fire hazard. CO sensor had issue & Vacasa slow to respond. Had to call fire department.
The clubhouse amenities were nice…gym, pool, tennis courts. The actual rental place was not clean (2 week old steaks turned to jerky and corn husks left on grill, dusty coffee table, fireplace ashes all over area, dirt under beds, outdated kitchen (no coffee maker…there was a French press, but if that’s not your thing good luck). Location is good if you’re exploring Rocky Mountain National Park (west side), winter park, etc. Also…parking is in front of unit opposite side of entrance so beware if you have a lot of groceries, luggage, etc…
I loved the location how easy was to find it Super clean and spacious. Loved the view the club house is Amazing . I like how vacasa was very prompt to my needs . The Condo is in Excellent conditions . I will definitely book it if needed in the future.
Ok, so overall it was a score of 3. Definitely goods and bads. A couple of goods: Nice access to Rec Center and easy to keep tri level area/kitchen. Bads: It is clear that this property hasn't been 'truly' updated to the 21st century (except for the TV's). That said, it is obvious that the amount of money we paid for this stay (or anybody in the last 15 to 20 years) has contributed to the owner's profit margin by about 80% (if not more) and it shows. Nice layout for the most part except that my wife and I had zero privacy on the high level because of the overlook to the living room. Both bathrooms had gross 70's or 80's style shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers. There was a nice fireplace and deck, though. The washer/dryer unit was broken, although, there was an attempt made on the delivery of a new one while we were there. (Yet, only delivered and not hooked up yet. It was supposed to be hooked up the day before we were to check out but they never showed.) Nice outside ski closet and beautiful views of the mountains. Coffee pot did not work properly and the microwave was not exactly in an 'ideal' location next to sink. (We moved it to another spot but upon checkout we put it back in the original area.) Something about 'a couple' of the lights (wiring) were strange. For example, the overhead light for the entryway door was not 'next' to the door; it was at the top of the stairway a half flight up. (What's the point of that if you can't see where you are going in order to turn on the light? ) The downstairs bathroom was 'adequate' but the master bath was like a closet and much too small. I normally live at 5,400 feet and this location was at about 8,800 feet and although I have some issues with elevation change, something about this unit made it hard to feel relaxed and comfortable. Eg. the master bed made it nearly impossible for my wife and to get a decent good night's sleep because we are used to a king size bed (this may have been a queen but it honestly felt like a double. In addition, this unit design's heating unit trapped the heat upstairs (due mostly to the open stairways and the previously mentioned overlook opening to the living room.) Because of the risen heat issue, I was forced to go the cooler downstairs every night because I simply couldn't get comfortable (and nor could my wife when I left.) If we had to it all over again, we would have taken the bedroom downstairs and let our 17 yr old use the master.(cont'd)
