Stayed Oct 31, 2025We had such an amazing stay at Lake Lure! The property was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly located to enjoy the beautiful scenery. My husband and I loved relaxing on the deck and taking in the peaceful views, and our dog Bentley had the best time exploring and soaking up the mountain air. Everything was exactly as described—quiet, cozy, and welcoming. Thank you Melissa for allowing us to stay, we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway, and can’t wait to return!

Stayed Sep 1, 2023Enjoyed our visit to Lake Lure,NC.Our communication with our hostess was excellent and very attentive to our questions. It was small but perfect for 2 people. The highlight was seeing a wild bear at the condo wondering in the parking lot soon after we arrived. Thank you so much for your kindness and efficiency in making our trip a positive one!!

Stayed Jun 25, 2023Everything was better than described. Very clean. We'll equipped kitchen! New appliances, comfortable beds. Most VRBO properties give you a starter supply of things but here you had as many essentials as you needed! Coffee, tea, breakfast bars, toilet paper, paper towels, pantry items, towels. There were even beach chairs, blankets and toys to use on the beach.

Stayed Aug 6, 2022This vacation rental was a short drive to the downtown Chimney Rock area. It was great having passes included to the The Rumbling Bald resort, which allowed access to the lake, putt putt, basketball and tennis courts, and more. The rental was very clean and well appointed with lots of kitchen supplies and thoughtful things like granola bars and oatmeal, as well as frequently used spices and condiments. I would highly recommend this place!

Stayed Jul 19, 2022This property was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the unit had everything you could need including coffee, snack, and games. The porch was gorgeous for a cup of coffee in the morning, though there were many cars on the main road which you could hear. This wasn't an issue though as everything else was perfect. We also enjoyed the pool and lake at rumbling resort as part of our stay. It was a perfect! I would stay again and recommend to anyone.
