Unit #401 –Unobstructed Gulf Views & Dolphin Watching from Your Balcony

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrive to check in to condo #106. When entering, there were 2 humidifiers blowing hot air and the room temperature was 78. We called the front desk who told us the air conditioner was out and that maintenance was coming “some time” today. I called back to speak to manager. I asked why we were not told prior to arriving or when we checked in. Cindy then told me: “I told them to tell yall before, I knew they should have” About an hour later, a manger (Raquel)called and said the unit air conditioner can not be fixed and that we would have to move to 406 but then will have to leave that unit Thursday morning to another unit. Very disappointed in the dishonesty and the lack of integrity from management. We missed dinner reservations 1st night and lost beach time with family moving units twice. One manger offered full refund, the other partial. We still had to pay for resort and cleaning fees. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

We also appreciated the updates in the kitchen and bathroom, especially the washer and dryer.

This was a pleasant surprise. The walk to the beach was such a short distance. The guy that worked the beach was the most pleasant beach attendant we have ever met. He was amazing and very attentive with a great attitude. The condo was clean and the furniture was very nice. My only suggestion-it needs some type of blackout curtains for the bedrooms. Other than that, it was awesome. BONUS-this condo has its own washer and dryer in master. Very satisfied ❤️

This unit was a great location with awesome views. The check in and out process was very easy. The place was very clean and layout of rooms were great. Would definitely stay at this unit again.

Reviewer Comments: We love The Islander and have stayed many times in different units. 401 needs updating from cheap furniture & old linens to the bathrooms and kitchen cabinets. Unit should be a bronze, not Platinum. We will choose a different unit next time. I would give the unit a 3 rating, while The Islander gets a 5 star!

We enjoyed the condo tremendously! Great views, comfy beds, nice shower. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen. Pool was nice and warm and hot-tub was great! Liked that it was an end unit and the stairs were super handy being so close. Would definitely recommend this condo!

We enjoyed our vacation at the Islander. Check in was easy but we were told we could check in sooner and we were made to wait until almost 4. That was a little irritating. Also, the room could have been much cleaner! Beautiful view and well decorated room. Would come back.
