While Southern provides you an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and trash bags to get you through your first 24 hours, we recommend you bring the following: paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, toiletries, hairdryer, napkins, condiments, spices, dishwashing liquid, laundry soap, coffee and coffee filters, beach towels, umbrella, beach toys, sunscreen, and anything else you may need for your perfect vacation.

Property was in good condition except the mold in several places around condo and lamp shade missing in master bedroom.
It was a great relaxing time. Great location, nice condo and beautiful water!! We loved staying here!! Plan to be back next summer!!??
Everything was fine except for the codes to get in.
We stayed 8 days at Emerald Isle, gulf front with two pools and fitness room. Clean, with excellent prompt service via text or phone. We had great weather, though showers come and then clear as expected. Highly recommend.
This property has a great location and easy to get to the beach. The codes to get in pool/building were a little much. It was hard to remember them.
Hot tub was not hot and always full of young children. Condo unit needs updating. Location is great!
We had a great time at the beach, the condo was everything we anticipated. Looking forward to coming back and renting this same unite again!
There were ants all iver the kitchen counters Rotten potatoes under counter Lamp shade in bedroom busted And we came back from dinner to find a room full if mantience men in our room without notifying us. And i had faliables left theee i did not appreciate that at all.
The condo was amazing. It had everything we needed, well stocked kitchen. Beds very comfortable. The gate and door codes were a little difficult at times, but the management company was quick to respond if we were having issues.
Big condo. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Great location. Would go back again.
We had a ticket placed on our vehicle stating it was parked in handicapped parking without tags. My husband is a disabled veteran and has DV tags/license plate on the truck. When I called Southern (after being told by property management to call Southern), I was given the runaround and told three different things by three different representatives. One telling me that it is required to have a handicap flyer hanging on the rear view mirror and license plates do not work. ?All three put in a request for management to call me back. No one ever called me back. I eventually sent a text to a number I found later and someone text me back stating that the property management would be who we contact about the ticket. All the while, our vehicle had a ticket and could have been towed at any moment to who knows where. My husband spoke with Emerald Isle property personnel and was told the truck needed to be moved to pressure wash above it. A parking ticket that stated would result in being towed was used instead of contacting us and asking us to move the vehicle to wash the area above it? So, if you have a problem or issue, you will not be able to speak to anyone in person to resolve it. Three phone calls, multiple text messages and tracking down property personnel is not what it should take and should not have taken time away from our vacation.
Weve been staying at emerald isle for years. Love the area. But not so much this experience. There were ants in the condo/ in the bed. Someone came to spray immediately. Check out is at 9. Seemed pretty early. We were packing to leave and the housekeeper showed up at 8:30 and just walked in.
We loved this condo. It has a fantastic view right on the Gulf with a large balcony. It was spacious, clean and had everything you need. Southern Vacation Rentals was very helpful with all of our needs. Will definitely be back!
Master bedroom king size bed/mattress needs to be replaced. Overall the condo was bigger than I thought and very clean but the bed is a deal breaker for me. Replace the mattress and I will rent again!!!
