Tufts 2 Bed + Office & Free Parking

As opposed to so many rental properties with a bare minimum of conveniences, this owner was very conscientious to make sure that the kitchen was well stocked with staples and spices as well as appliances and utensils. He even left some snacks for us. These conveniences are greatly appreciated.

Everything about the place was top notch. Others have described the good stuff so I won't be redundant. It was very, very nice.The problem that we had was that we were in the below unit and the people in the above unit - well their floor was our roof. They either were teaching a dance class or had a couple of small kids with heavy shoes running back and forth above us all night long. The host contacted them the next day and they were MUCH more respectful and quiet. But then they left and the next people that showed up above us must have also had small kids - running back and forth and back and forth. We contacted the host once again and he contacted the new people above us about the floor/ceiling issue and the quiet hours, but this group didn't listen to him and our 4th night was as noisy, driving us crazy with all the thud, thud, thud from above as the 1st and 3rd nights. I don't know if there is any solution - this is an old home and the upstairs people's floor is the downstairs people's roof. If you get the wrong people above you, it can drive you crazy. Perhaps that should be mentioned in the listing. I would stay here again anytime - in the UPPER rooms, but I couldn't take another night of kids running back and forth in the lower rooms.Other than that, everything else was absolutely great. Maybe the thudding from above wouldn't bother other families as much as it bothered us or maybe we just got really unlucky with the people above us, but for us it wasn't fun. :(

Great place, office was perfect. Parking great even w a big car. Didn’t need to do anything at checkout.snackies on arrival was amazing!! Only thing I suggest is to put 2 folding chairs in the closet for guests!

Comfortable place with free parking, well stocked with coffees, creamers, snacks and candy. Beds and couch were comfortable. Would be perfect with updated bathroom and kitchen. Also using “office” as an additional bedroom would allow for more guests.

The house was as stated and very clean. We all enjoyed it very much and the owner was very responsive to questions. Very good experience.

The listing was perfect for my family vacation. Location was excellent, the listing exceeded expectations, and most of all the host’s communication was outstanding.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The house was better than expected - the pictures don’t do the space justice. There were four of us (two adults, 2.5 year old, and 6 month old), and we have an ability to spread out and take up space very quickly. We never felt cramped and had lots of options as we figured out the best sleeping arrangement for everyone. There was a crib and high chair which made it much easier to pack and everything in the apartment seemed clean and in good shape. The property manager was very communicative and supportive. The location was perfect with its ease of access from the highway and walkable distance to the T. We will definitely be back!

This property worked out perfectly for our family: Mom, Dad, adult son and adult daughter. Very spacious. Facilities to make great morning coffee. Comfortable beds and towels. Very bright and airy. Easy walk to Tufts and Davis Square. Next time in town, we will try to book again!
