Stayed Mar 20, 2025It was wonderful to visit Hawaii with the comforts of a full kitchen and space to relax. 4 adults and 1 child had ample room to sprawl while also spending time together on the patio or playing cards at the table. Walking distance to waikaloa shopping and food. I will definitely be a repeat guest for this property

Stayed Aug 7, 2024We visited for a wedding, with friends staying at the Hilton and other close by condos. This unit was central to our friends, and the room was larger than expected and had everything we expected. We didn't see that the slider had to be securely closed for the air conditioning to work. we closed but sensor show open if the sliding door isn't firmly pushed closed. Enjoyed having the pool, and work out facility and having the ability to cook meals at where we were staying.

Stayed Feb 18, 2024Great location and lots of space. We loved our stay in Waikoloa. It was our first time on Kona and we can’t wait to go back.

Stayed Aug 13, 2022Cooling system was far too noisy and did not cool 9 out of 11 days. In person staff did not solve the problem. On phone person mentioned the sensor as being the problem. With her detailed instructions, not offered by others, the system cooled for two days. Noise never abated. A ruined vacation. Unacceptable experience.

Stayed Mar 6, 2020My brother and I travelled to the Big Island to celebrate his 70th birthday and booked A203 about 2 months earlier. After checking in we unpacked and had a look around at our new surroundings. The place was very nice and bright and the recent renovations looked lovely. Positives: Nice and central between the Marriott and the Hilton. Quite close to both the King's and Queen's Shops Reasonable walking distance to the shoreline, but to get to A Bay where there's a lovely sandy beach was about a 15 minute leisurely walk. A neighbourhood pub about a 5 min walk away if one didn't want to cook. While we didn't cook any meals the kitchen seemed well stocked with all the necessary utensils if we had wanted to. Neutrals: I call these neutrals because during our stay they were not an issue but might be under different circumstances. The A/C unit was very efficient but the fan noise was quite loud. It didn't impact us though as it was cool enough during our stay that we turned it off at night and the unit didn't heat up too much over night. Might be a different story had the weather been quite hot. There is no specified parking as the owner's car is stored there. Again not an issue when we were there as there were plenty of visitors spots to use. The unit being on the second floor overlooked a 3 way stop intersection so there was occasional traffic noise. Although not the beautiful ocean vista Hawaii is know for, it was a source of entertainment when we sat out on the lanai. We determined that the STOP signs there actually didn't mean stop, they were more of a suggestion really based on the number of vehicles which ignored them. Negatives: Non that I can think of. Overall the unit was nice and quiet and very clean and comfortable. Al and Rick Stirling

Stayed Jan 4, 2018The description of the unit states that it is completely upgraded. If anything, that's an understatement. The interior makes you think that you're in a newly constructed building. The entire living space is modern and tasteful. In addition, we've done a lot of vacation rentals, and we've never seen a kitchen this well-equipped. We were a family of four, with two teenagers. The bedroom setup (King, two Twins) worked perfectly. There are actually two and half bathrooms. . . One doesn't go to Hawaii to hang out inside of a condo, but when you are there it will feel luxurious. The complex is very simple. The pool is relatively small, but long enough for lap swimming and very pretty. We were there the week after New Year's, and there were always poolside chairs available for us. The location within Waikoloa Village is good. It was maybe a ten minute walk to Anaehoomalu Beach, and if you're lazy you can park in the Kings' Shopping Ctr and then it's a three minute walk. That said, we preferred to drive about 15 minutes north to Hapuna State Beach Park where the beach is absolutely spectacular. The condo unit had beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. for the beach -- very helpful. Finally, the lanai looks out onto Waikoloa Beach Drive, so it's not extraordinarily scenic. But that is the direction of the beach/sunset, and I kinda enjoyed watching all the walkers, joggers, etc. go by. The price was VERY reasonable. We'd rent there again in a heartbeat.
