The Space:
This comfortable 2 Bedroom/2 Bathroom condominium unit on 4th floor is recently redecorated.It has a wonderful open floor plan with the kitchen prep and eating areas open to the living room, which opens onto the oversized balcony with a slightly angled ocean view.
TV's in all rooms--46 in the living room, 32 in the master, and 24 in the second bedroom. Free Wifi, Cable TV and 1 DVD player and DVDs included, as well as private high-speed internet.

The Neighborhood:
Building is very secure with surveillance cameras throughout. Heated swimming pool, kayak launch, beach area with tiki huts and laundry facilities just steps away. Restaurants in the area include Harbor Cafe, Old Tavernier and the newest addition, The Crooked Palm Cabana. Kayak rentals are available close by as well and some of the companies offer drop off at Sea Gulls.

Getting Around:
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
If you are arriving via car and have a GPS / SatNav system in the car, please use 200 Wrenn Street, Tavernier, Florida as the address. If you do not have a GPS device, you can find us from the mainland by taking the Florida Turnpike south to Exit 4 - Homestead/Key West. This is the Turnpike Extension that will connect you to Route US 1 in Florida City, which takes you through the Keys to Key West at the very end of US 1.
Please be aware that speed limits throughout the Florida Keys are strictly enforced. Driving Route 1 to Key West is one of the most beautiful drives there is. Please be especially careful through the Big Pine Key area as this is a Key Deer Refuge. Speed limits are reduced in this area.
You can reach Sea Gulls by following Route 1 south from Homestead, over the 20-mile causeway, past Key Largo and making a left onto Wrenn Street, traversing the Old Highway at mile marker 89.9, right before Coral Shores Highschool.
GETTING HERE WITHOUT A CAR
We understand that some of you will be traveling without a car. We would not recommend this, as there are many places to visit, and it could be significantly more expensive. Ride share apps such as Lyft and Uber are available in the area. Some possibilities to explore:

KEYS AIRPORT SHUTTLE provides daily door to door shuttle service to and from Key West & the Florida Keys & Miami & Ft Lauderdale airports.

The GREYHOUND KEYS SHUTTLE has daily scheduled departures from the Miami Airport to all areas in the Keys.

CAR PARKING
Parking is provided for two cars on site and is easily accessible to our unit. Please be aware that all guests must be registered prior to coming.

    The property was very nice. The pool was consistently maintained, and heated. The private beach had grills, games, such as badminton and cornhole. There was steps leading into the ocean.. everyone in the complex was friendly and nice. And the condo was located near little mom and Pop restaurants/tiki bars.

    Very clean and modern, with great views and excellent facilities. The pool area and oceanfront are straight out of a Corona Beer commercial. The people were very friendly and helpful. Be prepared for traffic on A1A, but it never became frustrating. Great restaurants on the ocean, fishing, wave riders, kayaking. The unit was spacious and well laid out. An added bonus is the Osprey family nesting 100 yards away on a light pole. We enjoyed watching the parents bringing food to the chicks. The property managers were very responsive and helpful, We will return if it is available next year.

    For two days of our 7day stay we had renovation going on next door that made so much noise we could not stay in our condo. Sounded like a jackhammer taking out lots of tile. We requested a partial refund from the company we rented from and were denied. You would think no construction should be going on during February, prime rental season in Florida Keys.

    Master Bedroom / Bathroom is one room with no privacy between toilet area and rest of space and the master shower is very awkward as there is no door and the shower head flows across the short side of the shower?The 4 person maximum and wrist band requirement is not a point made on the property VRBO page and only revealed later in the check in documents.There is a significant amount of light shining into the master bedroom from the outside walkway lights and this makes it difficult to sleep in the room unless some curtain is fashioned to block the excessive external light.The location is great, the building is well maintained, the kitchen is functional. The refrigerator doors are super annoying. The TV is a Bring your own subscription situation if you want to watch anything interesting.Overall ok experience.

    Very nice condo. Needs cleaning/updating of the front room furniture. Aside from the power transformer it has beautiful ocean views.

    The property is clean and well maintained. it needs a few minor repairs which is typical with all homes. The balcony on our unit was barricaded off, so it was unusable. We were not informed of this, but it would have been a good heads up before our visit. we were issued 1 sob to net into the pool/beach area and we had 4 in our group. a few more would have been preferred. In all its a nice area and clean facility.
