Top floor condo with ocean and canal views!

The ocean view was only when you hang your head off the balcony and look left. The canal view was minute-in the distance. Condo was dated. Many steps to the third floor-not for the “out of shape” person. Not good for pets.

We enjoyed our stay in Carolina Beach. The location of the condo was perfect for beach access and quietness. Overall the unit had what we needed for a quick family trip. A few items to note that were less than optimal: 1- there were dirty dishes put away in the cabinet- namely cups that appeared had been used for smoothies and not washed. Rather than let it ruin my day- we ran them thru the dishwasher 2- the sliding door handle that is broken had a bandaid repair- the broken handle remained hanging on the door with a smaller usable one. For adults the door was able to slide, but kids had trouble moving it. I would suggest a more permanent repair. Overall the property was in good shape and decent price. Check in/out process with the Real estate company was easy.

The check in was so easy. Our room was on the top floor. I love that always. Place was clean and had extra pillows and blankets and lots of towels. The location was so close to Freeman Park. We had a great time there. The pool was clean. Nice chairs. No umbrellas is my only negative comment. WiFi worked as it should. Perfect for our pet too.

Great location. Nice condominium. Good neighborhood. Great pool location. Need to add a cookie sheet to the kitchen. Dryer vent was very full of old lint which we cleaned out and we cleaned the vacuum cleaner so we could use it. We left the condominium cleaner then when we first got there. The place was comfortable and homey.

Family loves this place! The location was perfect! Had a really good time. Thank you for letting us stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the Salty Dog Retreat and our pup was excited to be along for the trip! Would definitely stay again in the future!

The condo was just as pictured. It was very clean. It was a 2 minute walk to the beach which was wonderful. The kitchen was sparse when it came to needed items. The knives were dull. There was not a cutting board. There were no cookie sheets but there was an orange juicer. Go figure! Being on the fourth floor took some getting used to! You are quite winded when you do reach the top but that improved as the week went on. The clientele was questionable. The downstairs neighbor smoked week about every two hours the first 24 hours we were there. We couldn’t sit on the balcony when that occurred and it filled our condo pretty quickly. The first day at the pool a family was there with a young child and no diaper on so that was the last time any of us went to the pool. They were rather skimpy on paper goods. We ended up having to buy our own and the garbage bags were awful that they supplied. Especially considering that you are taking it to the dumpster. Anthony at Bryant Realty was am sizing!he worked very hard to make sure all was right as our lock needed a new battery and the sliding glass door handle was broken. But the cleanliness and the two minute walk to the beach won out. It was a nice break all in all.

Easy getaway. Great location on quiet location to the beach.

Small condo perfect for our short visit. Didn’t realize there were so many stairs though. Had my elderly aunts with me and made that difficult on them.

The pictures online are nothing like the actual thing: sliding back door was broken, the refrigerator inside door handle was broken. The one bedroom, the floor was actually sinking.
