Good location and good place to stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: comfortable and clean and we recommend it in general, but we never figured out how to turn the fan on in the bedroom and the digital locks on the front door are a true nightmare to use.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was very clean and comfortable, but needs some maintenance. TV in living room didn't work. Ceiling fan in BR didn't work. Door bell didn't work. Kitchen faucet leaked. Door to clothes dryer was not attached. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable, it had a TV in the BR and the unit was very clean and homey. Minor repairs were needed, but it was fine for me. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone until repairs are made.

Reviewer Comments: We were super excited to be able to bring our boat with us to Destin. Sandpiper seemed to have everything we needed due to the proximity to Crab Island and restaurants. First, the condo was a bit dated, but cozy. They are all privately owned, so it feels like you are a guest in a home rather than a hotel. The shower faucet was broken off, with sharp metal cutting our fingers. We checked in on a Friday, so it didn't get fixed until Monday, and once they replaced the knob, it just fell off again. The fan and several lights were not operational. They offer ice machines but each time we went to get ice, the machines didn't work. Other than that, it is a nice place to stay, with a really good restaurant on site, private beach access, boat slips available (with ramp).Parking is not assigned, so many times we had to park and walk several blocks because people bring 19 cars for a 4 person condo.

My partner and I are possibly planning to stay somewhere else next year instead of sandpiper cove.

Reviewer Comments: Over all the condo was okay however the beds (sofa and main) were extremely uncomfortable. You can tell it was the owner's old bed that they probably put in there when they got a new one for themselves. I mean you wake up in pain from these beds and could not get a restful night's sleep. I notified the front office and they said they will make a note. The second thing that is really annoying is when you book you are told that you are entitled to two parking spots however when you check in you are told that parking is first come first serve and to not even leave at night because when you come back you may not get a spot. I'm not sure why they can't have designated condo parking with the unit numbers on them. I've stayed at condos that do that so I know it's a thing. So in short the condo worked but we will be looking for other places in the future.
