The freezer handle fell off the first time we touched it. We’ve stayed at better rentals in Channelview.

We had a very comfortable stay. The kitchen was nice. Plenty of dishes and cookware. Paper towels and garbage bags were provided. However we had a week stay and they only provided 2 dishwasher tabs. For the price I think they could afford to provide a tab for each night you're staying. Be aware there are NO food items like salt/pepper/etc. The pool was heated and a nice temperature for swimming. The private pier was so much fun. Fishing from it was only ok. The only issue in our room was the bathtub's plug wasn't working correctly so my two little girls had to shower instead of bath but that's not a huge issue. Only issue that I feel needs to be addressed is that they want you to wear these orange wristbands when you're at the pool or pier. They gave us 8 bands and there were eight of us but we were staying for a whole week so we never wore them just carried them with us. If I was only staying a night or two I would have put them on but I'm not wearing that crap for a week! I also would suggest bringing an extra blanket or two. The blankets on the beds were pretty thin. I could have turned the heat up but didn't want to mess with the thermostat. I was fine but a couple of my kids got cold. Make sure to bring your own beach towels! I was so glad we did because there are no pool towels and it's specified not to take the rooms towels to the pool. Not an issue just be sure to bring your own. Overall we loved our stay and plan on coming again!

While we had to move to a smaller unit in another building, Harry was very accommodating and checked in often to ensure our experience was pleasant. Overall unit was clean - would not stay there again though. Living space small and furniture uncomfortable as we had to stay indoors with the weather. Rug was buckling on one end, both sides, and was somewhat dangerous with several seniors on the trip.
