The Whale Watcher- 3rd story Condo with Ocean Views & Private Beach Access!

Spectacular views of the ocean are its best feature. We were a little disappointed that the accessible beach area was small and mostly large rocks and logs. But, the location is close to many other nice walking beachs. Also, disappointed in the fireplace because the only fuel was 1 duralog. A gas fueled fireplace would have been much more useful.

Lovely little place to stay and enjoy being near the ocean. The trail to the beach was a little steep, but absolutely worth the effort to get down a walk around the rocks, and the views were unbeatable.

Water system was contaminated so had to boil water. Aiso, no elevator.

Oh my goodness! What breathtaking views! Condo is very clean and nicely decorated. The only thing I would recommend is to get a bigger hot water heater for the tub, but that’s a little suggestion compared to all of the wonderful things when you stay here!

A roomy condo with incredible views of the coast/beach. A short walk behind the unit will get you down to the beach. Easy access to local gas, groceries, and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Beautiful view! Loved this place! Travelers from Kentucky. Stayed here 3 nights while we spent a couple days in Redwoods National and State Parks. Extremely clean, everything we needed was provided and more…including coffee! Complex was quiet, gated, with a trail to a gorgeous beach below. 20/10 recommend this place!

Beautiful ocean view greeted us every morning. Walking down to the private cove was a favorite of ours. The condo was perfect.

This was ours second visit at this location. The scenery is spectacular. And conveniently located by nearby attractions. The management company did a superb job, following up with me to make sure our check in, was seamless. We highly recommend this place. We are, already looking forward to staying next year.

We have been to this property 3 times and have always enjoyed our stay. We found the road noise a little more bothersome this time for some reason, but the property is very nice with nice views and ocean beach. One of the best things is walking through the woods on the trail to Samuel Boardman beach/park.

This condo was super clean and well kept! The views were amazing. The trail to the beach was our family’s favorite part. We’d definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay on the coast!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The thing we liked best is the view, which is fantastic (unless the fog rolls in). As advertised it's a couple miles from town. The complex is adjacent to the Samuel Boardman scenic corridor, which is probably the most beautiful coastal stretch anywhere. You can even hike right from the condo! The furnishings were nice and the bed comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and the appliances were all good. The only snag we encountered was that the check-in instructions included an obsolete gate code (the correct code is in the Access Information section).

We had a truly wonderful stay at this 2-bedroom condo in Brookings, Oregon. Everything about this place was perfect and absolutely deserving of 5 stars.The view is breathtaking – waking up to the sound of the ocean and watching the sun set from the balcony each night was unforgettable. The condo itself is beautifully maintained, spotless, and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen had all the essentials and more, which made it easy to enjoy meals at home.The location couldn’t be better – close to the beach, walking trails, restaurants, and shops, yet still peaceful and private. The beds were very comfortable, and both bedrooms offered plenty of space and storage. The amenities – from the high-speed Wi-Fi and modern appliances – made the stay feel luxurious.Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. They were responsive, helpful, and made check-in a breeze.If you're looking for a quiet, scenic, and relaxing coastal escape, this condo is the perfect choice. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a lovely, two-night stay at the Whale Watcher Condo. The location was convenient and easy to find. It was outside of town, but close enough to get to stores and restaurants. It was an easy commute to the Redwoods! The view from the third floor was AMAZING! It was quiet, clean and had everything we needed. We loved having beach access and also being able to sit on the balcony at night to listen to the waves and watch the stars come out. We hope to come back someday.

Roomy and comfortable condo with an absolutely amazing view of Rainbow Rock beach. The place was quiet and felt kind of remote even though in reality you were only a few minutes' drive into Brookings and all the stores and restaurants. The only downside was the decor is a bit dated. Everything is clean and well kept, but the decor, bathrooms and kitchen appliances could all do with an update.

Home was clean and well-appointed. I had everything I needed, and I loved being able to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. No complaints.

Highly recommend!•Dinner & Drinks: We had drinks at Wicked Pig—great atmosphere—while waiting for our table at Pacific Sushi and Grill. The sushi and grill dinner there did not disappoint.•Fine Dining: Black Trumpet Bistro is a must. The lobster was to die for.•Steak Lovers: Warriors Bar and Grill at Elk Valley Casino served up an excellent steak dinner, and we enjoyed watching the elk nearby.•Skip This One: Catalyst Seafood didn’t live up to the hype—food quality didn’t match the prices.Nature & Adventure Highlights:•The Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor was breathtaking. If you’re adventurous, start your trip with the Natural Bridges Viewpoint—I would have hiked it if I were 20 years younger!•Don’t miss the Secret Beach (pulls up on google maps), Harris Beach State Park, and Whaleshead Beach.•Chetco Point Park is an absolute 5-star spot.•We also visited Trees of Mystery for about 2.5 hours—such a fun and memorable stop and Redwood National and State Parks (a must see).Hope this info helps your next guests plan an amazing stay. Overall a fantastic place to stay when looking for a quiet and relaxing spot to vacation . Views are incredible and unique, the apartment was well supplied and accommodating. Greatly enjoyed the private walking trail and private beach.

Our family loved this property. The views are unbeatable. Our kids loved exploring the beach at low tide. It is clean and comfortable. Well-equipped. Very close to Samuel Boardman, and very easy to explore the area from this rental.The check-in instructions could use editing for inconsistencies and inaccuracies, but our questions were answered by the friendly rental company team.

Our 3rd time at the Whale Watcher was as good as the first. Well stocked kitchen, great cleaning job by Paragon, and what a view! We had a small snafu with the WIFI which was straightened out the next day. Comfy beds. We can't wait to come back. THANK YOU!

This is our second time staying at this property in the last five years. We love the views and comfort of this suite. We were very happy with the amenities provided and that they all worked. We had one small problem with the wi-fi which management quickly fixed (outdated info for sign in in the Welcome information).

Great stay and location

Well put together condo with a super view and location on the water just outside of town.

This condo was the perfect home base for our adventures. It was comfy- from the beds, to the couches, and the little deck! The private beach was a highlight- tide pools, sand, and beautiful sunsets.

This was by far, one if the best places we have stayed. Everything was perfect.

Spacious condo with beautiful views. The path to the beach is steep but manageable in sandals. Kitchen and baths were dated but functional. Short distance from town. The wifi and tv didn't work, but after speaking with the property manager they provided us a discount. Wish there were more games or cards to play in the evenings since the tv didn't work. The one deck of cards provided was missing the 8 of diamonds. Would stay here again.
