The Soho Suite - Where Luxury & Location Meet

Location, Location, Location! This unit is right in the heart of all activity in Charleston! It is 1 block from King Street & 1-2 blocks to the outdoor market & carriage rides. I can't tell you enough how centrally located this unit is. The apartment looks just like the photos on VRBO. It is very comfortable & is perfect for a couple. The king bed is amazingly comfortable with nice sheets & the bedroom gets so nice & cool at night. There are no windows in the bedroom, so if you close the doors, it is so dark & cozy...even for afternoon naps! The living room & small kitchen are set up with nice furnishings & enough kitchenware for two people. They supply dishwashing soap, Keurig coffee, a sponge, paper towels, bath towels, washcloths, soap, shampoo & conditioner. You access the building from a small set of outside doors (with a personal code) & immediately step into an elevator. The elevator is slow & can get quite warm in the summer, but we were told this in advance. We felt safe with this location, day & night! Matthew was an amazing host & communicated so effectively with the check in/out procedures & responded immediately to any questions that we had. This unit is accessed on Hassel Street, but sits basically at the corner of Hassel & Meeting Streets. We never had an issue with any excessive noise nor food smells from the Matador Restaurant on the first floor. We would definitely stay at this unit again, or any of his other units within this building!

What a gem! Perfect location. Easy parking and walking to everything. Great layout with plenty of space. Lots of closet and space for hanging clothes. Definitely will stay here again.

Location, location, location. You can not beat the location of this rental. It is perfect. You can walk to pretty much everything in downtown Charleston. The check-in/out process was seamless. The bed, pillows and couch were super comfy. The rental was clean, beautiful and had everything we needed. The communication was fantastic. We felt very much at home here and won't want to ever stay anywhere else while visiting Charleston.

The location was excellent. We could walk everywhere. It was very clean. The only issue is that it is over a bar which had loud music at night.

Lovely ascetic, nice and spacious, and best of all the location is right where you want to be in the historic downtown! Huge beautiful windows so passing cars with music or trucks/motorcycles can be loud, BUT the bedroom is furthest from them so no issue sleeping, and a very comfy bed at that.

Perfect location close to everything you need. The unit was clean and bright, all the necessities were there. Restaurant below has a great happy hour!Check in process was easy, detailed and well communicated.

Great place to stay!! Matthew was helpful with answering any of my questions, and even let me know when it was ready, since we had arrived early. Very walkable location with an parking garage near. Will definitely be going back!!!

Great little place! Very safe and clean. Location was excellent for walking. It can be noisy but nothing unexpected as it is in the heart of downtown. Definitely would stay again.

You will be in the heart of Charleston just off King street. All the restaurants were close within walking distance, parking was just around the corner. It was an additional fee a very convenient.And even though we were in a very busy part of town when it was time to settle in for the night, the bedroom was very quiet.

I cannot recommend this property enough!!! Its location is perfect! Close to everything. Clean, roomy, and communication was on point! We will stay here on our next visit without a doubt!!!

Great location, we were able to walk to the Market and the restaurants. Bedroom had a comfortable king bed. The living area was spacious and the noise from street was mostly bearable except for the obnoxious loud mufflers of some cars. Bedroom was quieter without windows. Host was available immediately when we had door issue. Overall enjoyed the place and would here stay again.

Location is great!

Matt was very timely in all communications. Mother Nature impacted all of Charleston during our stay and Matt ensured that we had what we needed as soon as possible. Property itself is in a great location downtown, very walkable to anything we wanted to check out.

We stayed for 3 weeks, longer than a typical stay,. So our 4 score instead of 5 is based on things that would be helpful for extended stays (over a week), But Matt was available and helpful when needed. Thank you!

The apartment was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The bedroom was cool and dark, perfect for sleeping. It is only 1 block from market street, very convenient to get to the local shops and restaurants.

The room and location were great, but it cost 24.00 a day to park and that was never mentioned in the booking,

Overall enjoyed the historic location and our room. If you want to be in the historic downtown area this is a great choice. It was clean and Matt was excellent I'm communication and responsiveness. We had a few issues w the elevator at times and it was very loud at night with the street noise.

This place is spacious, extremely well-located and gorgeous! The host Matt was very responsive to our email questions. We had one occasion to phone him and he picked up immediately and managed our request. We felt very lucky to have found and booked this luxurious suite!

We were in town for business and pleasure and loved this little apartment. It’s only one bedroom but the living space is sizable enough for two people to be comfortable and have personal space. It’s beautifully decorated, very clean and very convenient to restaurants, King Street and City Market.The only cons—parking is expensive and while the garage is just behind the building, loading and unloading can be difficult if you don’t get a spot nearby on the first floor. Also, trash from the restaurant below was loaded up on the street right in front of the elevator entrance, which made entering and exiting unpleasant in the days leading up to trash day.Overall, the place itself is lovely!

Our stay was perfect. It was super clean, equipped with all the essentials, and the bed oh so comfy!! It was centrally located and a perfect home base for our stay in Charleston.

This is the second year that I have stayed here and it was great. Location is unbeatable with a parking garage just a few yards down the street. Very comfortable bed, nice kitchen and wonderful air conditioning. Will definitely come back.

Location was remarkable. Walkable to all the goodness Charleston has to offer. Communication was exceptional, clear detailed information with rapid response including fun and food recommendation. People watching from the extraordinary windows was amusing. Perhaps it can not be overstated that the furniture including the bed and linens were all of high quality so it felt like home after a day of sightseeing. There was some gentle noise from the street and yet closing the bedroom doors at night created a cool dark quiet space conducive to rest.

Beautiful place! Clean and supplied all your needs you could want....and more like magnified mirror for make-up, box fan to help me sleep!! Place was very clean will definitely book this place again and suggest to friends and family! The Mexican restaurant downstairs was a big plus!!

Spacious and comfortable rental - a great base for walking the city. The hair/bath products and coffee provided were an extra plus. The air conditioning was so welcome to come back to on a hot day.

The condo was very nice! The best part is that it is so close to everything! Including the CARTA Dash stop. We didn’t move our car the entire trip!

My husband and I just stayed in The Soho suite for 4 nights! We could not have asked for a better place to stay to explore Charleston. The location was perfect and the suite itself was spacious….much better than feeling cramped in a hotel room. Would definitely stay again, and would recommend this accommodation to others!

The Soho Suite was INCREDIBLE. The view of Meeting Street combined with the breath-taking view of the Ravenel made for a memorable stay. Parking garage was literally just around the corner; ANYWHERE you wanted to go was within walking distance. The suite itself was immaculate—from the gorgeous windows and the comfy bed to the beautiful bathroom with REALLY GOOD water pressure—and stocked with everything we needed. Matt graciously emailed me a second time after I failed to receive the instructions on how to enter the property. My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here, and would book every three months if we could!

Wonderful location, spacious apartment, and very comfortable for nine nights in beautiful Charleston.

Meeting street suites are located in the heart of the downtown area, walkable to everything. The only downside was the elevator. Overalll it was great.

Street noise could be an issue but close the bedroom doors and it’s quiet to sleep. Host very helpful!Could probably buy new drapes as the lining is damaged by the sun exposure. Large windows to watch the world go by!

The apartment is Wonderful, clean and comfortable.Amazing jacuzzi tub and water pressure.Bed was super comfy and bed room nice and quiet! Cant wait to be back for another stay it was truly fantastic!If i had any suggestions or recommendations it would be nice to have a had few waters in the fride and better selection of coffee (1) for late arriving, early morning guests who aren't yet farmiliar with the area and what may or may not be open but that's it lol Thanks again Happy New Year

We absolutely loved this space—it was even better in person than in the pictures, and the location was perfect.

We stayed in the Soho Suite and it was probably our favorite VRBO rental to date. The three giant living room windows let in so much natural light and were great for people watching. The couch was super comfy and the whole unit was immaculately clean. The location made walking anywhere easy since we were right smack in the middle of everything. Matt was great and gave us great recommendations on where to eat and places to go, as well as clear instructions for accessing the unit. Next time we come to Charleston, we know where we’ll be staying :)

It’s a wonderful property. It’s walking distance to everything and has a great feel. It’s nice to have more space than a hotel room. It’s bright and open . The manager Matthew was very easy to communicate with and very accomadating. We would stay there again next time we are in Charleston!

This well reviewed Soho Suite lives up to all the previous reviews and is why I chose it for my week long stay. It's very roomy, clean, and classy. Well furnished with all the amenities you'd want. My wife was happy to be greeted with fresh cut flowers upon our arrival, nice detail! My favorite features are the location and water pressure from the hot shower, Best Ever! My husband and I had the absolute best trip ever! Location, clean, how wonderful Matt was and beyonf helpful! The shower pressure was pretty amazing lol! This is the first experience of NOT having a massive list prior to check out! Will definitely be back!

Great place! Really no complaints at all. The location cannot be beat. Everything in downtown Charleston is literally like a 10-20 min walk. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Charleston SC!!

Delightful. But the parking lot owners are dishonest and charge far more than the stated $18/day. Closer to $36/day no matter when we were in or out. Also, the Wi-Fi was unreliable. And someone didn’t pay attention to securing the water and electrical before drywalling.
