The 'Salty Palm' vacation rental located in Destin, Florida with Ocean Views.

Overall we had a great stay. The kids loved the pool area - we loved that it was pretty clean, we could pop into the onsite restaurant for drinks and a pizza. The property itself is very close to various beach access points, restaurants, and other things to do for the kids. The unit had plenty of space for our family - it's as big a condo as it seems in the photos. Beds were super comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a 4 day stay. There's definitely some signs of aging - stains in carpet, 2 of 4 chairs on terrace were pretty badly damaged and not usable, etc. But from a cleanliness perspective, it was fine. For the couple of minor things we reached out to Amy about, she was super quick to respond and very helpful.

Everything would've been great, except there was renovation constructionn going on in the room directly above, including jackhammering out old flooring and installing new floor during the 7'o'clock hour, which put a damper on sleeping in on vacation 3 out of 4 mornings.

This condo was perfect for a summer get away with my nieces before school started. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had everything we needed to cook and unwind. This was the first time I stayed in a condo without direct beach access and it was actually very easy to get to with just a short drive across the street. Would definitely book again!!

The rooms (very spacious), balcony, pool, and beach were all such positives for a group of 4 friends to vacation. The shuttle is also an added bonus to get to and from the beach with ease or wherever else you’d like to go. The pools and outdoor activities (chess and bean bag toss) at the residence were an added plus. Highly recommend this condo to those trying to be out and about in Destin!

We had a great time. Plenty of space for our family. The Palms has great pools to swim in and it’s super close to the beach so we walked everyday instead of taking the shuttle. If you’re looking for a good spot for a family getaway it really worked out well for us!
