The Islander 705 - Beachview - Complimentary Beach (Seasonally) - Heated Pool

This is tremendous condo. The Islander has never let us down. We will be back! My only concern is the erosion of the beaches.Great trip!

Location was perfect as loved having the beach close by. Our room was perfect and the only thing was it was not stocked well enough with paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, and even dishwasher detergent) to get us by 3 nights. We also wish there would have been a few condiments like salt and pepper, etc. but overall our stay was great!

Our first time to Destin! We always stay in condos on trips. This one was definitely one of the best! The view was amazing, the people who worked there were all very friendly. Condo was in Pristine condition. They had activities during the week for kids. FYI if you want a 2 chair umbrella at the beach go when the guy starts setting up about 7am and throw 2 towels over the umbrella you want. They go insanely fast and you will be stuck to the back of the rows of umbrellas at the water. You can always take your beach water chair and sit by the ocean in front of all the umbrellas. Another fyi if you look at the maps you might think your close to shops but you have to come out of the condo are and into the Main Street to get to all the shops. I thought they would be a walk away but they were a little further. My kiddos walked to the shopping district and it took them about 15 mins to get to the main road walking. In a car it’s about 5 mins. But all in all for the view I don’t mind not being right by the main road.

The unit was good. Only a couple of things wasn’t working. The sliding door wouldn’t lock and the Toilet in master bath wasn’t flushing properly. Overall it was a nice unit beautiful view and very relaxing. We will be back!
