As described. Centrally located. Amazing views. Very convenient.

The check in process was terrible and could have been much better if we were made aware of a few things. First off, we were given a code to access the gates which we thought.. cool. But when we pulled up to the main gate, we noticed there was no keypad to punch a code in and the a security guard said that we need to go around to the side gate to go in. And then we found the side gate, well pulled up and again, no key pad to punch a code in, just a security guard who did not know English and we didn't know Spanish so we struggled communicating until I called the property manager and had them relay that we were there to check in. I then had to show all passports to to the security guard and then she gave us a parking pass and we were good to enter and park.... and then we opened the door to a condo that had no AC and 83 degrees inside. The fact that they had stand up fans in every room let us know that obviously have had AC issues in the past. We called and they did send a technician over to say that the repairs they needed to do would require accessing piping in the rooms and recommended that we wait until we check out and then they would repair it. They were able to get some AC flow through the vents so we accepted their terms. The next day we had it cooled to 76, the next day to 72 with all fans on. Other than that.. we thought the condo was very nice, good decor, perfect for a family of 6, great location and sunset view from the deck were amazing.

We stayed in this 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath condo for three weeks and really enjoyed it overall. The unit is spacious, bright, and offers stunning balcony views. The kitchen was well stocked, and all bedrooms were comfortable with great layouts and ensuite bathrooms. Amenities like the washer/dryer, beach chairs, and beautiful heated pool were much appreciated.There were a few drawbacks: the unit could use a deep clean, no weekly cleaning was provided, and some basic supplies were missing. The bedroom air conditioning was weak (and didn’t work in one room), and a few maintenance issues weren’t resolved during our stay. Pool chair reservations were also frustrating as rules weren’t enforced.Despite these issues, we loved the space and views. With better maintenance and upkeep, this would be an excellent rental—we would consider staying again.

We would love to return! It was clean, ready on time, everything was in perfect working order. Elevator worked perfectly. I was concerned because some of the reviews. However, everything was completely well maintained, well stocked, well appointed. Very spacious! The management responded to all inquiries before and during our stay. The pool/pool bar was similar to a resort. Location was right in the middle of town. A few heads up- bring coffee/coffee filters, expect several hours for air conditioning to cool the unit, toilets require multiple flushes, shower water pressure is low/doesn’t get very hot (all of this was fine, no complaints whatsoever... its nice to have realistic expectations). Grounds crew, cleaning staff and security were all very nice and friendly (i wanted to counter previous assertions to the contrary based on our family’s experience). There were monkeys in the trees of the property which was a delight! Walk across the street and you are on the beach! 🏖️ Also Hotel Diia across he steet has a wonderful brunch buffet we loved!

The phone number listed did not work. This was verified by the entire security team at the hotel & condo. Emails were not returned. After an hour and half we had no choice but to check into the hotels last room at an inflated price to cram into. Without a fridge we disposed of our groceries.We did however get a call the next day from a rep named Tony. He asured me they would take care of us but didnt confirm until 11:55am when we had already packed to leave and booked another hotel for the evening. He assured us a manger would call or email. THEY DID NOT no stones. He assured they would refund us but as of today they have not. VERY DIAPPOINTED. The property was nice but the damages outweighed the stay. They also jammed us into a PDF one way rental agreement after they charged my card. Hasve lawyer read it and add a vacation damages clause or you may be out of pocckt like me. NOT HAPPY. We will be contacting the owner of the property next week to let him know how disappointed we were.

The Diria property is the best but this unit was sub-par for the cost. We have stayed in about 6 or 7 of the Diria Matapalo condos and this by far was the worst (except the views). Issues: toilets barely flush due to little pressure, 2 bathroom's shower heads were dangling hoses due to the clips being broken, air conditioner didn't cool the 3rd bedroom, bathroom soap dispensers were broken and dangling, bathroom towels were pretty much rags, family room couch was original 2012 and was saggy to the frame, the patio furniture is original 2012 and you are sitting on metal bars. We had to request more towels, drinkware and kitchen items to suit the unit being for 6 people as advertised. The property management's job is to advise the owner when the unit requires upgrades, replacements, amenities, etc. With this unit's rent going up by $1000's for 2025, we moved to another unit.

Overall great property. Our second stay at this unit. Great location, great property. Curtains need attention. Last year also noted. Not on track and had to use chip clips to close completely. Ceiling fan on main porch still not working. Last year had bird nest which has been removed, still unable to turn on. Bedroom with twins did not cool properly. Did not request repairs for these issues as not that big of a problem. Dishwasher leaked, mgmt. did send someone, but was not able to repair. Would still consider again for next trip as total property package is great. would also look at other properties at this location.

The condo was secured, spacious, clean and very well-equipped with a central location and nice amenities.
